This sock dog is to be a gift for our great, great niece who is 6 months old. The packaging is lovely and everything is there to make a lovely sock dog. It is a little tricky to put together- to get all the bits, legs, head, tail in the correct places and difficult for a child I should think but I of more mature years can manage it quite well and I am pleased with the finished toy. I hope to make another toy before too long!

I enjoyed making this, instructions were clear and easy to follow. However I would add that giving each piece a tiny hem before sewing into place would make the end result a little neater also sewing the seems with a running back stitch would be better than straight stitch. I added my own embellishments as didn’t like the buttons provided.

I bought this as an Easter gift for my ten year old daughter, I'm so glad I did! She spent almost all of a chilly, damp and miserable Easter day making it. Yes, she needed occasional help, she also made a few mistakes but she was learning new skills with every stitch.She's SO proud of herself for making it - no it doesn't look the same as the one in the picture on here but, as she said: "Mummy, everyone looks different and everyone is special for who they are so it's fine that my sausage dog is slightly different".I was going to add a photo of the finished product but my daughter is fast asleep cuddling her sausage dog very tightly. Something that has given my daughter so much joy and such a sense of achievement is worth every penny.

Bought this for my 11 year old niece, she loves it. Nice quality of items in the bag.

Great kit with easy to follow instructions and enough stuffing for second dog (you just need a different pair of socks). Overall I am really pleased with it although it could be a little bit cheaper

Brought as a stocking filler for my daughter, she loved making it and the end product looked great. Good quality socks and a little pack of sweets were included in the pack, which I thought was a lovely idea. Will buy products again for my nieces.
