You don't get the advertised cap.
This is a wide angle version of the standard filter holder for P Series Cokin filters. Whilst the standard ones are very useful in every day photograpy, holding more than one filter at a time, as the wide angle one is thinner it only holds one. Its advantage lies in the fact that there is less chance of vignetting if using lenses with focal lengths below about 24 mm.Although advertised as coming with a cap, it does not. Disappointingly the sellers comment on being contacted about this short coming was a less than helpful - "I'm not sure what it means. We don't have control over the listing unfortunately, it is something curated by Amazon."That said, if you use Cokin filters with wide angle lenses, it is a good price for the product.

Good Product
Before I start let me just say that the objective of this and any review I write is to evaluate the product in terms of intended functionality and quality or lack thereof, not to moan and downgrade items because of slow delivery or poor packaging, which in my opinion is totally unhelpful,so here goes.I own a Canon 10-22mm EFS ultra-wide angle lens which I use for landscape. This filter holder is designed with this type of lens in mind,it is slimmer than the 'normal' A series holder the intention of which is to reduce or eliminate vignetting at the wide focal lengths 10/11/12mm and so on.Thus far I have experienced no extra vignetting at 10mm,and regardless I always use the correction software in Canon DPP or Photoshop or some such anyway so in terms of this function its all good!! Next ease of use, well its very easy straight out of the packet, just remember you will need to buy the correct adapter ring for your lens, these are not supplied but are available in all sizes at a reasonable cost. The quality of the plastic is good, the product is sturdy and should last a fair while, although I do feel that the price is a bit too high when you consider that the 'normal' A series holder can be bought for around £6.00 at the UKs biggest on-line marketplace. Please note that this holder can only accept one filter at a time,I am about to experiment with this system in conjunction with a slim screw in filter,I will report on the results soon.So all in all it does what says and does it well, very highly recommended beginners rectangular filter system, buy it!!

Good quality and does exactly what it should
Good quality and does exactly what it should. My only complaint would be that the description can be misinterpreted which might explain some people complaining that they are still seeing vignetting between 10mm and 13mm on a variety of lenses. The description states that this will work with focal lengths UP to 20mm on a 35mm camera. There are two things to note here - I think it should say DOWN to 20mm as we are only concerned with the minimum focal length before vignetting occurs. And anything above 20mm is constrained by lens diameter not the field of view. Secondly, 20mm on a 35mm camera is equivalent to 13mm on a DX camera. This will therefore theoretically start vignetting at under 13mm on a DX format.I can honestly say that I don't see any vignetting using a Nikon 12-24mm with a UV filter screwed on the front of it. You can try removing any filters (UV, Skylight etc) that you may have screwed on the front of your lens which places this holder closer to the lens and therefore removes more (or all) of it from the field of view.I don't see any of the quality issues others seem to be seeing either. Everything feels robust and everything fits. I've had the standard Cokin holder for eight years and don't see why this one won't last either.

No vignetting on D90 + Sigma 10-20mm @ 10mm
I purchased this in anticipation of being able to use Cokin P ND Grads on Sigma 10-20mm DX. I read on several online reviews that 10-20mm DX Nikon mount suffers from vignetting with the normal holder. So this holder solves the main purpose. I did not notice vignetting even at 10mm.So in summary, if you have a Nikon D90, Sigma 10-20mm, infuriated by the behavior of UWA at 10mm, have decided to use Cokin P ND Grads to cool yourself and the lens down... this holder is good. No vignetting at 10mm.Go for it.

A must have filter holder !
Initially I bought Cokin P series filter set with a standard filter holder. With FX Body + 82mm lens diameter, vignetting is visible between 24-35mm focal length.Fitting the wide angle holder will not totally eliminate the vignetting, but it is much better. Even though a bit of vignetting can be seen through the viewfinder, final image (in my case is o.k) - I suspect the auto distortion control in the camera help eliminate the vignetting...

Good if you only need 1 filter
Used on Canon 6D mk 2 with 77mm adaptor ring onto Canon EF 24-105mm f/4,The build is much stiffer and a different polymer to the standard design. However despite the description and slimmer design, there are still some vignetting issues when used with the polariser. Also be aware there is only 1 filter slot.* No filter: only very soft vignetting at 24mm (comparison to standard holder: vignettes at ~34mm.)* Polariser: vignetting at 24mm, clears at 35mm.* Square filters all OK down to 24mm.

Excellent product and service.
Almost exactly as advertised except there was not a cap or as advertised a cat with the item. I would have liked to have received the advertised cap and feel this omission Merits the 3 stars rating. So be prepared not to receive the advertised cap but if you do then lucky you.I have now rated the above to 5 stars, as after a chat to Mannish on the helpline I was offered a generous amount on a gift card which allowed me to order the missing cap and it is being delivered tomorrow. Thank you Mannish and well done Amazon.

Slim fit model reduces vignetting problem but poor quality
I bought the slim fit P-Series holder as a replacement for the original P-Series holder because the original model suffered from vignetting at the widest focal lengths on my wide angle lenses. The slim fit holder model reduces the vignetting problem well but the holder eventually snapped when removing it from the lens which now makes it completely unusable so I am disappointed with its poor quality. It is a shame as I still have the original model in good condition which has been used far longer. The plastic looks and feels cheap compared to the original which could explain why it broke easily
