Update 31 January 2024: A representative from ESR saw my review and reached out to ask for details and to offer replacement or refund. I chose to give this item another chance. I've had it for about a week now and it's less stiff than the original but just as stable, meaning it's easier to deploy, and it still doesn't sag. So far no sign of the sudden looseness I experienced with the previous unit. The packaging on the new unit was much nicer too. I will follow-up eventually to update this review as I acquire more experience with this item. Original 17 January 2024: I received this item on 9 December 2023, and I have used it every single day since then. It seemed sturdy and was an excellent tool -- cheaper than a PopSocket and much more versatile. Unfortunately the hinge on the outer ring suddenly became loose (floppy, won't stay in position) on 17 January 2024, making it almost completely useless as a phone stand or a hand grip.

I’ve used this every day for over a year and a half so far, and it has stood up well. It’s super easy to install - it just snaps onto the magnetic case. I love the adjustability of the kickstand. Being able to use it horizontally or vertically is quite nice, and rotating it is very easy. It grips firmly and is easily removed when I need to wirelessly charge my phone. It took some time to adjust to holding it because I was used to Pop Sockets, but once I did, it was great. It feels more secure in my hand and it’s prevented many, many drops. Also the hinge has not become loose on mine like some reviewers have mentioned. It may cost more than some, but to me, the quality and functionality make it a good investment.

This phone ring holder looks premium and easily stands out compared to others I’ve tried. I really like the design and overall usability- it feels great to use day-to-day. The magnet is strong and reliable, and it stays secure unless the phone takes a hard drop. My only issue is durability. I’ve gone through three of them already because they tend to break pretty easily. That said, the warranty support has been solid, and the ESR team has been helpful whenever I’ve had issues. Overall, it looks great and works well, but the build quality could definitely be improved.

Quality metal, dual sided magnet. Works well as a ring, a stand, and if you want to stick it on metal like gym equipment, it works there too.

When I first got it, it was amazing! There was enough tension to really keep the stand in any direction I wanted. I comfortably would put my finger in the ring and then "drop" my phone if I needed both hands, because the phone would just spin around and still be held by the ring and magnetic mount - it was that strong. About 3 months in, I realized that when I dropped my phone, the whole thing comes flying off... I don't know if it's that jarring it shocks the magnetic connection loose? I also didn't remember that happening the first couple months, but I want that bothered by it. But 4 months in, the tension is gone. The ring continually slips out of place and no longer feels stable, which is a disappointment... I've contacted the manufacturer for an assist, so fingers crossed they come through with a solution.

Update: heck no to this. It scratched the heck out of my MagSafe apple clear case and it doesn’t stay on it constantly comes off when taking it out of pocket or if it’s dropped. The mechanisms are also ridiculous still too tight to move and adjust, needing too much pressure to simply adjust. It’s okay. I have the iPhone 17 pro and the magnet is strong and does easily just attaches to the apple clear MagSafe case I have. It feels solid and hefty. Not a fan of how bulky it is. I’d rather it be slimmer so phone sits flat on its back. The big BUT here is that the parts you move to set it up to stand are so tight. Too tight that to adjust the phone to have it stand, the entire magnet will have to come off because of the strength you have to use just to pull out the rings to make it stand. It’s pretty annoying. And then you have to pull the rings downward to make the phone stand and so more reason for it to come off entirely. You have to hold down the magnet and then pull out the rings. There’s too much friction in this product. If you want it just for the first ring that pulls out to not drop phone while scrolling or whatever, that’s fine. It works great for that. But to stand? No you’ll keep having to remember to hold down magnet or remove completely to see it up as a stand.

I really like the way this ring works. It can be used to help hold my iphone more securely or prop it up at an angle so I don't have to hold the phone to watch videos. It's very solid no matter how many times I drop it.

I am a long-time popsocket fanatic, but decided to give this ESR ring grip a try because my popsocket doesn't work as a stand in portrait mode. Well, I might be just using this ring grip because I LOVE IT. As a stand this ESR ring works in both portrait and landscape mode and, mostly importantly, it is incredibly sturdy in both positions. As a grip it is VERY comfortable and easily spins around so that it can be held in different positions. When not in use, it all folds in very close to the phone, with just a bit of protrusion. However, because the whole thing is sturdy, it doesn't seem to get caught on pockets. What I also like about this compared to my popsocket is that it gives me a better grip on the phone when trying to take pictures at different angles. Because it's a ring, there's no way I am going to drop my iPhone. I am using this with a Mous bamboo case and the magnets on this ring grip are VERY strong. No issues with it falling off. I cannot speak to the durability of this, as I just got it, but I am probably going to get a second one to have just because it's so functional. Update: I have been using this for a few months now. I like it so much that I purchased a second one in a different color to use with another case. While my popsocket is still a bit more comfortable to hold in my hand, this ESR grip is way more functional. Biggest benefit of this grip is that it can be used to stand the phone up in landscape or portrait mode, something popsockets and most other grips cannot do. It does get a little less stiff with use, but so far continues to function perfectly and looks great on the phone too.

Super fuerte y duradero... solo hay que fijarse en la funda porque yo lo compré con una funda de silicón y se despega... pero ya cambié la funda y quedó perfecto.

bling meets functionality. plus, the adhesion is really strong (matched with a clear ringke fusion case for samsung s24, which i also highly recommend. i'm giving it one star less (0.5 if i could as it really is almost perfect... 4.5) only because it feels bulky and the middle rings protrude quite a bit. I'm not sure I like the stiffness of the rings when extending but that is perhaps a good thing, as it adds stability when extended.

I really love how simple and easy it is to use, i did not expect that it will be holding the phone this strong and i was expecting a failure, but instead it really has a strong magnet connection with iphones with Magsafe and it is very simple, the beat thing is that you can use with with or without a cover
