This is a fantastic radio at its price point. Its compact size makes it easy to transport. The controls are very intuitive and simple to use. It is very easy to find a specific radio station and then preset it as a favoriite. I also like the large display. The sound quality was much better than I was expecting - the speaker provides rich and clear sounds. The rechargable battery is long lasting and when the battery gets low it does not require a lot of time to get a full recharge. The customer service from Jazmm Store for post sales issue is fantastic - quick and accurratre response. Lilli on the customer service team is exterelmely helpful. I am very happy wiht the product and support from the company.

My eight-year-old daughter has been asking for a portable radio. She has reached the time when she is unwilling to put up with Daddy's old music and Mommy's talk radio. She is ready to explore on her own and wants her own things. I thought this was a completely reasonable request, so I bought her this radio based on decent reviews and the large digital clock readout on the face. Because of her age, I gave it to my little girl and told her it was up to her to read and use the instructions. At 8, she is working on reading comprehension skills and, also, developing patience with complex tasks. By the end of the day, she had the radio charged, programmed, the clock set and was listening to her favorite radio station. I asked if she had set an alarm - she decided she didn't need one for anything, but she did look at the feature. Based on our experience so far, I think this is a pretty nice product. It seems fairly tough. It is easy to use. It has a nice range of features without trying to pack in too much. The buttons are a little small for me, but for smaller hands they are fine. The earbuds work well - I did offer to upgrade them but she has declined. This radio has become my daughter's new travel companion. It is holding up well under everything she can throw at it. The whole family is quite pleased with the experience.

The unit does not easily turn ON, and now will not turn OFF. Otherwise, it plays well.

The radio has good sound but too many features for easy operation. If you are listening to a radio station you cannot turn the device off without returning to the time function before pressing the on/off button. I just wanted a good AM/FM radio so I returned this radio for a radio only model. I don't need an alarm clock.

Still working after a year. Only thing I have an issue with is that it doesn't actually fully turn off. The clock stays on. I just took it out of storage today to find the battery completely dead. So make sure to keep it charged every month or so to prevent the battery from damage. It has pretty good reception. Sometimes the angle of the device will have better reception than not so move it around to get the right spot. Holding the antenna with your hand actually helps as well. Holds memory of your channels even after battery was completely drained.

A great radio for people on the go. I use it a lot when I am outside for a run or a bike ride. It is also easier to carry it around in the house instead of lugging around a larger radio. Clock and alarm are also very useful and have had no problems with charging the radio from my laptop. Received the radio as a Xmas gift and have really liked it.

I have several small pocket radios, some costing significantly more than this one. For a regular around the house/garage use or something you can take camping, this is a great value! I'm able to pick up most stations in my area. There was one AM station I was having trouble with, but it does come in clearer in the evening. The antenna could have been longer to resolve this issue. When you plug in the earphones, the earphone wires DO NOT become the antenna, like on many other portable radios. The speaker, for its size, is amazingly good. Voice clarity is surprisingly clear. Reading through the manual, it is well written and well worth the 5 minute read, to familiarize yourself with all the functionality this radio offers. The lockout function is great. Note, there is a warning in the manual not to use more than a 2A phone charger to charge this radio, but for most people this should be a non-issue.

This unit does not work in Australia on the AM Band. Only in the US as the AM tuning is in X10 increments, 1280, 1300, 1310, 1320 ect, you get the idea? So I need to listen to 3AW AM which is 693, I can only tune to 690, you get garble and static. This should be made known to buyers Apart from being useless in Australia, it works well on FM and overall, a good solid radio. Returned item

This little radio works very well. Very easy to.operate and listen to. After about 3 weeks it suddenly stopped. It was beyond the Amazon return date so we contacted the company and dealt with Niki who told us what to try and it was quickly fixed. She was prompt, efficient and very courteous. We are MOST satisfied with Niki and the service team.

Escuchar la radio con audífonos mientras se está caminando o andando en bicicleta tiene asociado el riesgo de no escuchar advertencias sonoras de peligro. Este radio tiene una bocina que en general suena bien para programa hablados, aunque para escuchar música no es lo mejor (los audífonos sí funcionan bien en este caso, aunque no se puede considerar de alta fidelidad). La ventaja sobre un teléfono celular utilizado como radio es que para el teléfono se deben conectar los audífonos que actúan de antena y se necesitan para el FM (no he encontrado una aplicación para AM) y aunque la bocina externa del teléfono celular suena mejor para música que la de este radio, gastan batería. También se puede escuchar la radio (AM y FM) vía internet en el teléfono celular, pero eso consume datos. Esta radio portátil tiene la ventaja de que no utliza datos, si se agota la batería, obvio, no está comprometida la batería del teléfono celular (yo lo he utilizado tres horas sin problema a volumen medio, la carga dura menos si se sube mucho el volumen pero no sé cuánto dura). Se escucha razonablemente bien en exteriores. En interiores requiere que se le oriente hasta recibir la mejor señal (especialmente en AM). En exteriores no hay ese problema a menos que la estación que se quiera escucha esté muy lejos o tenga señal débil. Se puede llevar en la bolsa de la camisa. Otro punto a favor es que la batería es recargable y si dura para un paseo.
