BEST NUTRITIONAL PRODUCT EVER
Do you know what this stuff does......it causes bio genesis of your mitrochondria. That is you get new ones! I have taken a lot of nutritional products over the years but this one really made me feel different after a week or so. More energy, more alert. Goes well with a good Ubiquinol product. If you take Ubiquinol, good idea to take shilajit with it as it aids absorption

High quality supplement as usual for Jarrow
PQQ is a supplement just becoming available the last couple of years; it is reported in research studies to improve the function of mitochondria in your cells (necessary for energy metabolism) and is even capable of stimulating mitochondrial biogenesis (regrowth). It is reported to improve cognitive performance as well as physical endurance and performance under hard exercise. My own experience as an active 62 year old man confirms these claims in a relatively short time frame, much to my surprise. I do use ubiquinol CoQ10 also, which is recommended in combination with PQQ. I've been using CoQ10 for a long time, and would not say I notice any particular effects physically, but add PQQ to the equation and I was surprised at the results, which in a sense rules out Placebo effects. What I found was that in general I felt lighter on my feet and more agile just for every day physical motion, and my workouts show an improvement in stamina and strength.Gauging the mental effects if any is a little tougher, as I had come off a period of intensive work and long hours just before the holiday break, but it seems to me I'm even more OCD and assiduous about being organized and responding rapidly and effectively to issues, so perhaps there is benefit there, also. This is all after 3 weeks of use. There are many supplements which I think are of more benefit to older people, due to the decline in liver function with age and the body's lower effectiveness in synthesizing necessary nutrients and utilizing those which are consumed. I would recommend anyone 50 or over give this a try in combination with CoQ10 (ubiquinol variety). The more physically active, the greater the benefit may be.

and then recommended this product to help with ubiquinol uptake
I have been under the care of a cardiologist for the past 5 years and had a recent stent installed. So when the cardiologist put me on a statin and ubiquinol CoQ10, and then recommended this product to help with ubiquinol uptake, I listened and also did research. I'd never heard of it before. Most people don't realize it but statins wipe out CoQ10 in your system along with reducing your cholesterol levels. This can lead to many heart related issues, not the least of which is a heart attack. You must replace the CoQ10 in your body, which is far easier said than done. Unfortunately, many cardiologists simply don't talk with their patients about it, as medical schools rarely teach their young doctors about the advantages of non-prescription supplements. Since they don't talk about the CoQ10, they neither talk about which version of it to use. As it turns out, younger people can absorb the cheaper version, but once you hit age 50ish, that slows down.It is at this point that you should switch over to ubiquinol CoQ10 that absorbs better. But even then, absorption is limited. PQQ helps with that and should be taken whenever you take your ubiquinol CoQ10. This however, was just the first reason for taking PQQ.Mitochondria biogenesis basically means that your body is creating new mitochondria. You can find out far more than I can write with a few Google lookups, but in summary, mitochondria are responsible for energy conversion in your body and they are found in many organs such as the liver and heart. They mutate over time and this contributes to loss of energy and function, essentially known as aging.Nobody is suggesting that PQQ is the fountain of youth, turn back the clock, or restore hair or hair color. However, increasing your body's production of mitochondria is currently one of the holy grails of anti-aging and can help to prevent further damage, add overall energy to your daily living, and perhaps slow down the aging process. For me, I wasn't expecting much other than what the doctor said about the ubiquinol CoQ10 uptake, so I really don't think it's any kind of placebo effect. However, I've found a significant increase in overall energy, and so far a 10# weight loss without changing anything else.

Amazing product, but are they short changing us?!
This product is really amazing if used right. I do a lot of training - running competitively and lifting, swimming, etc, and noticed marked improvements; my 5k time came down almost a full minute on average, I can lift more, and seem to be able to focus better. I do take a double dose, and also take it with the QH-absorb. I've been using it about three months now. It seems like it may need a couple of weeks to work.My brother tried both as well, but didn't notice much of a change. The major difference is that he has a bunch of kids who keep him up at night and doesn't work out, ever (with so many kids who can blame him). So it seems like you may need some definite baseline comparison to be able to measure against. My major issue is that I read about other customers being shorted a few pills, so I counted my last order (didn't even think to check before). Sure enough, it was one pill short!! Double and triple checked. Not a huge deal to me if this happens every third order (though still really annoying) but I'll be counting from here on out, and will definitely lower my rating if I'm shorted again... hopefully another PQQ product will work just as well if this is the case. Has anyone else tried other PQQ products, and if so, recommendations are always welcome :)

like "Lucy in the candy factory"
I am certainly not getting any younger. Being well into my 50's and working a nightshift for 7 twelve hours shifts in a row has taken a toll on my body and mind. Not complaining, its just the career path I chose (when I was in my 20's!). I work in a hospital lab and have to have my game on all night, like "Lucy in the candy factory". I read an article about PQQ and decided that I would like to try it. I have been taking CoQ10 and NAC on and off for years. I started taking the PQQ approx. a week ago and Wow, my physical stamina has increase quite a bit. I'm still a little worn out at the end of the shift but don't have to push myself to get all those end of shift duties done in a hurry. I'm more alert, memory is better, I'm 2 steps ahead of myself, more organized - its like I have a better rythmn as I work, like I used to when I was younger. I hope this lasts, I love this stuff and can't wait until my days off to see what I can get accomplished as switching over from nights to days is TOUGH. I am pretty non-productive for several days. I would not take this at any other time except when I wake up, I may not be able to go to sleep
