Patience yields a great result!
I really liked the look of these & thought they'd look great on my Astro Black Mini Cooper S which has 17" Silver John Cooper Works Wheels.I was a bit concerned by some of the comments but came to the conclusion that this was a job for a patient man and that the complaints were probably from people who hadn't followed the instructions properly (No offence intended, I had no patience when I was younger!).I ordered, they arrived next day, so far so good... It says on the box not to be fitted in temperatures below 20c..... Hmmm problem, it was a 12c November day and I don't have a garage or access to one..... So this how I solved the problem, firstly cleanliness of the surface is critical, this is a 9 year old car after all. They supply a cleaner wipe along with an adhesive primer wipe for each wheel. I put these to one side and cleaned each wheel first with hot soapy water and rinsed with hot water. I wiped them down with Methylated spirit, followed by adhesive and tar remover, then an alcohol wipe. They were now clean enough for the supplied wipes to be used. I measured the circumference of the wheel and cut off 4 slightly oversized lengths from the roll supplied, happily there is still enough left to redo another wheel too!OK so now I'm ready, I get a 3 speed hairdryer and set it to HOT I spend a number of minutes until half of the wheel is good and warm and the other half is warmer than when I started, I peel back the backing and start applying to the warm part, it sticks tight, obviously the wheel is cooling relatively quickly so I started to apply the rest of the trim, as soon as I was nearly at the end of the 1st warm half I started to reheat the bottom half and carried on applying. You finish with a couple of inches over, you mark the angle for your cut with a pencil and with a sharp pair of scissors quickly cut to the pencil marks, then just press the last few cms on, making sure you butt up to the start of the trim. Then I heated the whole of the circumference while pushing down hard with a warm damp cloth. After a few minutes I was pretty sure it was on to stay!! Repeat 3 more times and Voila!! it's done! I didn't rush and I guess it took 2 hours to complete the task. The next thing is to keep to the guidelines, let them dry for at least an hour and then do not drive at over 40 mph for 3 days (which was a bit of a drag but as it was a weekend no big deal). Finally on day 4 I took the car up to a good speed on the dual carriageway and as you can see from the picture they're still stuck tight! It's been 2 weeks now and no problems. So not only do they look great but my wheels are protected from kerb marks! This is a great product and well worth the money!!

Best advice I can give is do a wheel at ...
This product really makes your wheels look refreshed an new again as it covers scuffs an kerb marks. In a wide variations of colours that you can quardinate to your look or car.I went for Red since I have a Gti .The product instructions MUST be followed no skipping steps.Best advice I can give is do a wheel at a time an leave 72 hours for 3M tape to adhere or use a replacement set of wheels til your set is cured. The reason I give this advice is these rim protectors will fall OFF if you dnt thourghly degreese the wheel by washing an using the alcohol wipes provided. Also you must use the primer wipes for better adhesion .Far better doing this in a warm garage too.Over all the product will stick an last if you follow instructions fully an dnt skip steps..Takes about 3 days to cure .Would I buy again probably not .As I had to use superglue to fix a bit that came unstuck.May be due to the curvature of my wheel against the tyre when cornering or temperature.Hope this advice is helpful.

Came off within a few days damaging my car door where it whipped it.
Cleaned my tyres on my brand new work car, as suggested with the wipes provided, stuck the rimblades on and they looked great. Took the car out a few times but on my first time on a dual carriageway, I heard a loud whipping noise, thinking I had a fault with the car, I pulled over and saw the photos and damage as in photos. Thinking maybre I'd put that on wrong, I took it off & still drove with the others on, within a few days another came off the same, so removed all of them. What a waste of money!

Adhesive isn’t sticky
We’ll to be honest the adhesive isn’t the best as it’s not as sticky as it should be I wiped dried and primed waited 5 mins as recommended and they just seem to come off with ease maybe I’ve done something wrong but I did everything it told me to do right

See for yourself
At the moment they've stayed on considering the reviews I was s bit sceptical, but definitely cleaning the wheel I believe is a big step to getting what you want from these, on 22" alloys they look great especially as my alloys are black, test now is how well they protect the wheel in a scrape I'd rather wait until the wife has one of her kiss the kerb moments to find out to be honest but if I need to replace one no doubt you'll know its me on my next feedback so far an A*product :-)Here is what everyone wants to know! Do these things protect your rims..... No I had an unfortunate meeting with a kerb and I'll let the photos help you make your mind up. These are the second lot I bought and applied as per instructions the first ones I bought two came off on the motorway despite attaching correctly so I had to buy the second set to replace the missing ones, they've stayed on so far but as you can see they don't protect your rims and this wasn't a deliberate in encounter with the kerb to be honest it was a very light brush, I would say more cosmetic than functional, dissapointed

So far so good! And look great on my seat Leon
Took about an hour to apply to all 4 wheels. But they look great and they have stayed on but will see how long they last.Easy to apply, clean the alloy first and dry then apply the addisve wipe sachets to the the alloy areas you will put the edging on. leave the it to dry for 5 mins, (to touch it isn’t stick) then you have individual cut protective edging peel the sticky tape off bit at a time going round and begin to push the edging on firmly going around the alloy, taking your time pushing it into place hard the once you’ve got all the way around over lap slightly and cut to fit with sharp sissors or stanly knife. I’m a fan! I let ya know how long they last
