This is a beast!
I love this knife! It can really take abuse! Throwing, batoning wood, felling 4" diameter pine, chopping on 2x4's point drives/pries into osb board, slicing, after i sharpened it to 20 degrees.Good hunting knife, not for fine work.Good for bush craft/campingGood sor survivalGood for self-defense, i do find it balanced wellEasy to sharpenI know the steel alloy is low end, but they hardened it extremely well! I have had much more expensive knives with much better alloy not handle the abuse i have put this knife through! Why not? It was dirt cheap!I have big hands and the handle wrapped in paracord, which i like, is just a bit too small for me, but the finger ring gives me good purchase. I plan on wrapping it in rubber, no glue, tape to fill my hands. Again it is cheap! This should not be a problem for normal hands.I love the finger ring but it did not come properly deburred/smotthed on the edges of the ring. It was done, just not enough. It was easily fixed with some sand paper. The sheath is soft foamy crap, but with the price of this knife, you can buy or make a nice sheath for it!I would recomment this knife to anyone who wants a big bowie!*** correction*** the sheath is not foamy, it is cordura, but without a plastic insert. So, depending on how much you use it, i don't know how long the sheath will last

Tactical application
Like others, I ordered one to see if it was decent or not and it is a good knife for $23. As a retired US Army Infantryman, we like to have a multi use knife we can use in fighting or for general use. Weight is critical when considering what blade to carry and this one is robust but it’s heavy and the handle should be 2 inches shorter. I like the 550 chord wrapped handle, it allows the knife to have a lower profile and I can remove it and add a different type handle as needed. For those who like to tinker in the garage, this would be a great bayonet if you welded on the parts and did some minor profile modifications. The blade is well cut and no sharp edges other than the blade itself. The upper portion of the blade end is sharpened in case you were wondering. So if you can re-work this knife and cut off some weight it would work as needed but find a good sheath for it, the one that comes with it should be in the trash can. Get some Kydex and make a simple retention sheath and set it inside your IOTV panel, just make sure the handle won’t snag on anything while using your primary weapon. Definitely don’t consider this if you’re in an armored vehicle, it’ll catch on most hatch rings. If this was about 3 inches longer it would be a great short machete to cut down bushes and branches for vehicle camouflaging and to build a fighting position. One thing most young Grunts don’t do now is sharpen their e-tool so it can be used as a small axe and a fighting weapon. We used to have one machete issued to each squad but I doubt they do that now. Hope all this will help someone.SFC DeVos 11H/11B 1983-2009

MIND BLOWING VALUE AND PERFORMANCE
This is an incredible survival tool/throwing knife. It is very sharp, brought, and, it resists stain, it buttons well, it can be used for cooking, camp chores, chopping wood, ECT! It is a substantial piece and it throws well.So far, I have gotten three! This speaks for itself so enough said! The value for the money boggles my mind. Finally, it looks, non conventionally, very cool and it comes with a heavy duty nylon sheath.Got it? Get it!

Amazing Knife, Inferior Sheathe
This is one of the best knifes i have ever purchased at this price range. The knife came very sharp, is durable, easy to use, comfortable, heavy and multi-functional. The paracord handle lasted quite a while, but eventually loosened to the point of no longer being functional as a handle. Fortunately, it isnt too difficult to redo the handle as shown by my current pink and blue handlex. Unfortunately, the knife is heavier and sharper than the sheathe can handle, as shown by my knife cutting right through it. Duct tape and various other contractions were able to hold it together a while, but alas, it prooved impossible to hold. I now just use the knife around the house as opposed to taking it with me.

Duro y fiable

BARATIJA acero 3CR13
The media could not be loaded.
