Length as reported and transmits electric to my battery from a roof mounted solar panel, so I suggest a good product.Price was reasonable so I would order again if i needed another.

Useful extension lead. Long enough to reach the battery on the main car which is parked outside the garage, rear to the door without having to turn it around or swap cars around. Neat weatherproof cover for the connector so it’s safe outside. Easy to plug in and ensures that I can keep both batteries topped up as needed.

Perfect for my needs and also got a hand written thank you note from the company 👍 personal service at its best during these difficult times 😊

Not too much to say about this one. I have an Mk1 MX5 which is SORN over winter, and the battery always dies come summer time. So I bought an OptiMate 4 and this extension cable (to avoid having to run mains voltage outside) to run from the garage to the car and keep the battery good while it's off the road. It's working great!

With both an OptiMate 4, for smaller batteries, an now an OptiMate 6, with its higher output, for the car batteries, the extender cable allows the car to be charged in the drive, without having to run a mains voltage cable to reach.Having got one cable extender, found this was not quite long enough, so decided to get another. I would have preferred a shorter second cable, but the shorter OptiMate extender does not appear to be compatible.I understand two extender cables can be used in series, though perhaps not endorsed, to reach even further. This means the old second car can now be parked in a more convenient position, but still be connected, to keep its battery in good condition while on standby.The connection between the two cables looks to be fairly weather proof, but a bit of insulating tape around it should ensure it stays dry.

Cable ordered on 27 Nov 2012 and arrived in new and pristine condition today (2 days later). Thank you Quad Bikes Wales (Amazon shipped?)Item is a Tecmate SAE-73STD extension cable, 4.6m long, which is rated at 5 amp max, down to temp of -20 degrees C (actual measured length is 4.65m including the plastic "boot" sleeve on one end)Cable received new and unused in a shipping envelope, in it's plastic cylinder packaging. Package (200mm x 54mm) will be useful for storing the cable when it is not in use. Cable now in use with an Optimate 4 battery charger/conditioner.There is a "waterproof" (or splashproof?) connector "boot" sleeve that fits onto/over the Optimate 0.50m "croc-clip fly lead" (connected to the battery).The cable feels good quality if a little inflexible in this cold weather. I like these Tecmate products as they appear well-made - - but as always "time will tell" how good they really are.Same good quality cable and connectors (unsurprisingly) as the cables on the new Optimate 4 and Optimate 6 battery chargers.Any problems and I will update this review.

This longer charging cable worked great to add to the wall mounted Optimate 4 battery maintainer.I have 2 motorcycles and two vehicles on the unit and I can reach them all now.

Acheté en complément du chargeur  Optimate OM OPTIMATE6 9-Step Véritable Chargeur et Mainteneur, 12 V, 5 A  et des câbles  Optimate OM O01 SAE71 Câble de Batterie Résistant aux Intempéries, Sport Motorisé Idéal car il évite de devoir démonter et remonter la batterie du véhicule.La longueur de 4m60 est très suffisante pour recharger la batterie présente sur le véhicule qu'il convient de placer à moins de 5m du chargeur. Pour ma part, j'ai fixé le chargeur au mur de mon garage et j'utilise cette rallonge pour le connecter à la batterie. La longueur est largement suffisante pour laisser le câble passer sous la porte du garage jusqu'à la batterie de la voiture. Et pour ma moto, c'est très largement suffisant car elle se situe dans le garage.J'ajoute que la rallonge est quasiment indispensable si vous désirez accrocher le chargeur au mur.Je recommande ce produit.N'hésitez pas à cliquer sur oui si vous avez trouvé ce commentaire utile, c'est toujours agréable de savoir que cela à servi à quelqu'un !
