This is a lovely story. We bought it to help to teach our 3 year old daughter that every creature might have feelings and a family. It had the desired effect and inspires thought in a friendly way rather than making them question death!In hard cover and beautifully illustrated.

I bought it to teach my reception class about caring for the environment during our topic about Mini Beasts. They loved the book and are all treating creepy crawlies a little more carefully.

Went down well with a little grandson who loves all sorts of creatures, but also likes to see them when they are over-played with, i.e. dead !!
