It’s very small, but that’s my own fault for not checking the dimensions. I just assumed it would be bigger and brighter because I’ve had other lamps for a similar price in the past which have been much better.It came in a cheap-looking unlabelled cellophane bag which was then packaged in a plastic post bag with no protection or padding. Given that there were parts in there easily broken if mishandled I’m surprised it didn’t arrive damaged.It came disassembled so I had to put the lens and cap on myself. This wasn’t difficult, but I would have expected it to come already assembled for £9.It doesn’t look quite as nicely finished as it does on the pictures, but it functions well enough for what it is, although I’ve known much brighter LEDs. It wouldn’t be so bad we’re it not for the fact that it was a gift.If I wanted a purely functional little light this would be ideal, but I would want to pay more than £4.99 for an item if it’s size and quality. £8.99 is a bit too much, but I’ll just have to put this down to experience.A word of caution, this is now the 4th item I’ve ordered via Amazon in the last four weeks where the packaging has been awful. The fact that nothing has been broken or lost is more luck than anything else.
