Exactly as described, great product

This was so easy to get in position, in just the right place to hold my phone. It doesn't jump about, or let the phone wobble, very sturdy. And I can move it very easily into a new car leaving no sticky patches. It also holds sunglasses very firmly too. I'd recommend this to anyone!

Just got this yesterday, it actually came a day earlier than it said on the amazon app, which was nice!This is exactly the kind of thing I was after for mounting my iPhone X onto my car vents, I didn’t want anything stuck to my windscreen.I took it out of the box and went straight to my car (BMW 3 series) and after a couple of minutes bending a few arms/legs, it was securely fitted to my car vent, and I can put my phone onto and take it back out without adjusting or moving anything. And my wife’s bigger iPhone XS Max fits into it aswell without adjusting anything.The arms/legs are veru Grippy so you really don’t have to bend many legs to hold the phone. There’s 8 legs, 6 I’ve bent into the car vent to hold it securely, and the bottom two I’ve used to make a cradle, so the legs are holding the phone in place and it doesn’t move an inch whilst driving.I love how if I need a stand in my house, or if I’m going on the train or a flight I can just take it out of my car in a few seconds and use it as a stand elsewhere, it has so many uses.After buying this I really don’t see why anyone would buy a regular phone mount, which is JUST a car mount, you can’t use them for anything else, and there’s no guarantee it’ll fit your car properly until you try it.10/10 for this bendable spider mount.

There are a range of ways to hold your smartphone for viewing and seems only to be limited by your imagination. The best use I've found for it is to use it as a phone mount in the car by inserting 4 of the arms in the air vent - works a treat and can be fitted and removed in a matter of a couple of seconds.The arms (legs???) are sturdy yet easy to manipulate and, once in place, don't move unless you want them to. Personally, not being an 'arty' sort of person, I find it difficult for the end result to look aesthetically pleasing, but it works well nonetheless.Although not the 'official' brand the build quality seems very good and the cost is much lower. These are not grippy or made of rubber like my original one. They are plastic and don't work well!
