Yes it certainly should. I repaired my canvas case for my snowshoes

I did not find the wider tape, but for usual tears we are fine with the current tape.

Sticks real good to nylon. I don’t think anything would be permanent in your situation. I used this on my outdoor grill cover that had some holes in it. Its been holding up for a couple years now. Good product 👍
