10 Packs Thickened 2.0mm Flat Rubber Slingshots Can Be Replaced With Elastic Bands, Suitable For Hunting Slingshots Catapults Together With Elastic Elasticity Bands For Outdoor Jungle Hunting

This is fairly thick rubber and difficult to pull back to full firing position for me. I ended up taking the bands apart, cutting the tappered bands down by 1/8 " and re-tieing them with my own, large leather pouch. Up till now I've used therabands but these, with my modifications, outperform the therabands by twice. A little tip, use a thin band of rubber to wind on and fasten the rock pouch. The rubber stretches and doesn't dig in and cut the bands. The slingshots I use I made from quarter sawn oak. The pattern is a well know design that works great. I've been shooting slingshots since I was six. I'm now 74 and a deadly shot with slingshots, longbow and any type of firearm (though I don't shoot guns anymore do to tinnitus) I wish they would sell the bands separately, the materials are better than the assembled product they make.

Product was advertized to be 1.5mm thickness. Not so. I'll say I'm not dissapointed with these bands. The original bands that came with the slingshot were .91mm thick. Pretty good snap. The new ones are 1.31mm thick. Also not bad--good snap. Yes, I would buy these again but I'm thinking it'll be a while as I think they'll last pretty long. I was able to fashion a 3/8 pouch in the "leather". You can soak the leather over night and press a 3/8 ball bearing to form a pouch. Try to figure that out. Works very nice as the ball drops in the pouch very nice and holds it in the center.

Great product. Much better than I expected. I love the heavy draw and thickness. I will be stocking up on these bands.

Not sure if I could hold steady draw for more than 2 seconds. If you're sure you can handle the draw, I'd say go for it. Otherwise do some research.Me? I'm gonna order some .75 mm bands.

I purchased the heavier bands. I'm a strong old guy, still young enough to enjoy plinking with slingshots. These bands exceeded my expectations. I'm still on band #1 after hundreds of full draw shots. I didn't realize it when I ordered, but the bands are already tapered- a nice upgrade. As a kid, all I shot was a wrist rocket, tubular bands, with the nicest rocks I could find along the road. These bands do have a small pouch. However, these aren't for wrist rockets hurling all manner of non-round objects. I have these on my Scout. I have converted to biodegradable clay shot for plinking and 3/8" steel shot for things I wish to harm. The pocket on the band is perfect for this. For nicer slingshots these are the ticket. I still have a wrist rocket for lugging boulders. Be clear on the best ammo for each kind of slingshot, and you'll be very happy with these bands.

I like these 1.5mm bands. They are a tad stiffer than the ones that came with my slingshot, but I think they’ll work for me as well as for most adults. I wouldn’t suggest them for kids.The pouch could be a tad taller, width appears to be standard. I shoot clay so I’ll see how they work out..
