So, I brought this unit to upgrade from the standard screen etc on my 2017 mk7.5 fiesta.Once installed it looks good, and the majority of features listed do in fact work. My main complaint and reason for returning it is because its not compatible with the steering wheel controls or with the factory fit reversing camera. I also found that, although the reversing sensors connect and work, the sound the unit emits for reversing is horrible.It was an easy process to return and get a refund.

The media could not be loaded.  This doesn't come with any accurate installation instructions. But it wasn't to hard to work out how to install it. You need to use the metal clips from the Sony radio trim your replacing. Once in it looks good. Lots of functionality. However I think I may have been sent the wrong harness and encoder combination as there wasn't any connection for the steering wheel controls which seems strange. I've yet to work out how to confirm this with remoody. The above problem is quite a big one as it means you have no hardware volume control and the software volume control on the tablet is in a dang awkward place right down in the corner of the screen. I've yet to work out how to mute the sound quickly either. Luckily the install is reversible if I end up unhappy. I've only just put this unit in. Overall, it's not bad for the cost. I just hope it lasts a while.
