It comes with a plastic blade guard but no sheath.

Q: How wide and thick is the blade?

The blade is 1/4'' thick, and 4'' 3/8 front - 4'' wide at the handle . It is a real deal, but not US made. At least the handle does not have any markings, except the brand name.

Q: Is the logo on the blade stamped or is it paint?

I just received this massive cleaver and the logo "DEXTER" is stamped into the blade.
