RØDE MINIFUR-LAV Deluxe Lavalier Windshield for the Lavalier Microphone

This comes in a pack of 3, well packaged and has the Rode logo etc so assume is an original Rode product. The fur wind shield has a small rubber hole in the bottom which fits really well on the Rode Lavalier mic (I measured it around 0.5mm diameter). The 'fur' itself looks good for wind abatement. I had previously bought a non named brand but those did not fit. So, good product, recommended

Works well with a RODE Lavalier Go microphone, albeit it took me a little while to work out how to remove the micro phone’s default foam top (simply push up the plastic ring at the bottom of the foam). Nicely made and good for outdoor very gentle wind removal.

These are very nice quality, easy to attach and do their job well but beware, they do only fit Rode lavaliere mics. I tried using them on one of my others without luck.

I used this recently to interview Arit Anderson at Kew Gardens for the Middlesized Garden YouTube channel. Kew Gardens is beautiful but there is constant aircraft noise. This wind shield did seem to minimise the impact of the noise, and I was able to minimise it further in editing. But I do wish it was available in several colours or at least white, because it looks rather obvious when pinned against a summer dress.

Good quality

Bought these as lost a shield off a Rode Lav mic when all the kit had to be quickly moved to a new location during a shoot. As usual Rode charge a very reasonable price for accessories unlike a lot of brands. Basically just works on a LAV mic and is good value for money. You get 3 wind shields in the pack.

Bought this ‘deadcat’ shield for an outdoor interview using my Rode SmartLav+. Although on the day there wasn't a huge amount of wind. I fitted this in place of the foam shield in case of wind distortion - I couldn't hear any on playback. A little overpriced, but they do come with 3 in the pack.

We returned the item and no sign of refund. Product is good but the seller is terrible.
