I use this in a workshop with tall storage shelves. They work great moving the extension lights to a location where you get the most amount of light, then mount each to the ceiling. Before this the area had minimal lighting and was very dark, due to the original ceiling light being blocked by the shelves.

Had my doubts about this ligh but after only getting 3 of the five put up It was like something meone put the sun in my workroom and not sure I'm going there put the other 2 up in the same room hoping there's enough length I'm going to try and stretch those 2 in another part of the basement But nothing but great things from this light.And the price was awesome. I hope they can restock and hope they stay at that price

These felt very cheap from the start. The price is a little high for what they put out. There are much better options out there. I decided to install two extra light sockets, then purchased some really bright screw in type garage led lights with the ability to angle the light where I want.Don’t waste your money!

Easy to install, BRIGHT! , light weight, all the hardware you would need. The center piece it’s alone pretty bright. An upgrade even my kids liked a lot.

This relatively unique kit comes with a large LED light that screws into a standard socket, 4 smaller LED lights with 8' wires that plug into the large light, bases that can be screwed to the ceiling that the small lights lock onto, screws and anchors, and a light socket.We have a 3 car garage that has a double stall with a large door, and a single stall with its own door. Many years ago, I used that third stall as a workshop, so it has adequate lighting. However, the larger stall only has one light socket near the center. It lights things up enough to get in and out of the car safely, but that is about it. So I ordered this kit to get more light. WOW, it made a huge difference.The Good:- The amount of light we gained in the garage is amazing. It hurts your eyes to look directly at the lights; they are so bright.- The installation process is very easy and flexible. Simply screw in the main bulb to a standard light socket, plug in the satellites then let them dangle. Next, route them wherever you need the light (within 8' of the main bulb), screw the bases to a ceiling joist or truss and twist on the satellite. I like the flexibility of placing the satellites wherever you need the extra light. They don't need to be installed in a symmetrical pattern.The Bad:- The included light socket looks like a cheap toy, and I did not feel comfortable using it. Fortunately, I had a light socket already in the garage, so I used that.- The screws are terrible quality. When installing the bases for the satellites, I drilled 7/64" pilot holes for the screws. The first two screws I tried to drive snapped in half. I threw them away and used good quality screws I had on hand with no further issues.I definitely recommend this kit for adding a lot of light to your garage, workshop or basement. However, I would throw away the included light socket and screws and use higher quality ones.

I got this system for use in my basement. I have a 120 or so-year-old house and the basement only had electricity added in the past 15 years. It's all exposed ceilings and simple 60-watt bulb fixtures down there.About a year ago I got some super bright LED bulbs to try and brighten up the space, they work decently well, but still, I have a large basement and only 6 fixtures. So I saw this system and thought this will be perfect.So far it is! The main unit is super bright, so that's in the middle of my basement. With the 8 feet or so of cord on each side unit, I have positioned them all over in the places I need the most light. Its working perfectly.My only gripe is that I would love a way to turn off the side units individually. For example, I have one over my desk, as I need the light, but if I wanted to use my webcam, its too much light and I have to move it or unplug it which is a pain. Just a switch in the wiring or even on the light would get this 5 stars.

This product lasts about 1 year And then is absolute junk
