What a stroke of genius! No longer are we worrying about using tin foil on windows or crap “travel blackout blinds” that don’t work…. This creates a cosy little zone for your little one and our baby settled in it within minutes thanks to the blackout it provides (even in a bright room at nanny & granddad’s). Love the pouches for the fan and the monitor. Only criticism is that because the monitor pocket is made of plastic, it clouds the view from the monitor but not so much that you can’t see anything… it’s just not as clear… but this is a price I’m willing to pay for the blackout quality and stress this takes away when travelling! Folds down nicely and is easy to put up (though would advise finding a large area to assemble it in as the poles are long and easy to catch on a wall in a smaller space 😝)

Very easy to set up and is indeed blackout inside once zipped up. The first night I used this, my baby slept in 2 hours longer because he wasn't woken up by the sunlight in our room in the morning. It will be great to use when traveling this summer in hotel rooms and camping. It has vents for extra ventilation and a pocket for a fan and your baby monitor; both can be accessed from the outside without unzipping the tent, which is a nice feature. My monitor works fine in the monitor pocket, even through the plastic.

The SlumberPod has been a total lifesaver for our family, especially when traveling or sharing a room with our little one! We travel a lot with our now 19 month old. He’s a good sleeper but is used to having all sleep in a blackout room by himself. We always try and find places where he can have his own room but, economically, it just doesn’t always work out. We have a lot of family cottage trips this summer where we all have to share a room so we figured we would try this out- WHAT A GAME CHANGER! We are finally able to share a (not at all blackout) room as a family and have our son sleep peacefully with no distractions. We’ve used this successfully 3 times now and will continue to! PROS: - very blackout - pockets for sound machine/ camera/ fan on both the top and sides - well made - compact size to travel with and fairly small even when assembled (not much bigger that a pack and play and not too tall) CONS - the poles are tricky to get into place in a tight space. Not impossible but definitely not “easy”. If in a spacious room, no problems at all! - although the fabric is breathable, it still tends to get quite warm/ stale air inside. I recommend a fan inside one of the pockets if you’re in rooms without good airflow or a small space. - although the fabric, zippers, pole are well made - the footing for the poles gets a lot of tension. The stitching is already pulling away from what foot and will need to be reinforced soon. All in all - SO worth it! My son actually loves hanging out inside like it’s his own little personal space.

Went to Mexico and slept in the same room as my 7 month old. Baby slept every night. Fits perfectly over pack and play and is very dark, however if the room is warm, the sleep pod is even warmer so we put our monitor in the spot for it and it read the temperature so we adjusted the air conditioning accordingly and opened the vents when the room was dark. Have used a few times since and works great.
