I used this thermometer to cook a ham in an electric roaster. This thermometer was very easy to hook up. The ham turned out delicious.

I bought this because I was always overcooking my roast even when I follow weight and such. This little device is constantly used in the oven, it sticks to the outside n beeps when it’s done, I do wish the alert noise was louder but overall will recommend and buy again.As far as use- very easy, durable, well made

This will not allow you to cook under 140 degrees. 140 is considered rare. It’s not accurate at all below 140. Beware. Almost Killed my roast. Last I knew 120-125 was medium rare.

Very accurate and easy to use…

I bought this item because it appeared to have most features that I wanted and was available in the time frame that I needed it. Basically, it is a piece of junk. The set up and use is convoluted and in practice does not work well. It took several tries to get the temperature I wanted. Then it kept turning off or resetting to initial set point. Also, when trying to use the magnetic function to attach to the oven, the magnets on the back side fell out and would not stay in place when replaced. I only gave it one star because I was able to improvise and finally read the cooking temperature and it is the lowest rating I could give it. So disappointed I just through it in the trash.

I loved this item, used for about a year and it worked great. All of a sudden it is reading 20 degrees hot and I cannot find a user guide to try to re-caliberate it. Very sad, as I love this.

What I expected

This is wonderful. My only problem is the setting to medium . It was more like a medium rare. Other than that, it’s great and my tiny issue is easily fixed. I’ve used this every time I cook meat.
