We tried several other alginate gel dressings for a terrible wound on our cat's front leg and Aquacel AG was by far the best and easiest to change. Thanks to its fibres, it does not tear and is easily removed with the help of little saline. Even the infected bits healed just fine with regular changing (every 5-6 days + super-careful removal) - we did not use other ointments on the wound, just this dressing. Highly recommend for all deep wet wounds.
