I love this skirt and highly recommend purchasing for a cute edgy outfit. I do have a couple things thoughI love a high waisted skirt but this one sits very high on me and it’s a good thing it’s fairly long because it became very short throughout the night. I was pretty actively having to it pull down.The other issue I had was it is fake leather but just as hot, I was full of sweat after the night. Granted I was at a concert and it was already pretty hot but the skirt did me no favors in that aspect.Other than those things I adore this skirt and will definitely recommend

First off—definitely keeping even though not perfect fit overall. Here’s why: I got the skirt on a Lightning Deal (so less than $20—I would not pay more for it otherwise). It’s very cute in burgundy and pairs well with plenty of styles of tops, especially leotards in black, charcoal, gray, forest green (around winter/Christmas). It can be dressed up or down. It’s faux leather and can be worn with an oversized, slouchy turtleneck sweater and tall boots (casual look) or a delicate lace or artsy top with a great deal of jewelry for a dressy look. Versatility is important.Sizing:Purchased in LargeI’m 5’6’, 153lbs (longer torso/shorter legs proportionally, wider hips, ample rear end). I don’t have a perfectly flat stomach, but I certainly don’t hold a large pouch or belly. If you do—I would recommend significant shapewear to wear under your skirt/outfit. The skirt sits high (at least on me with wide hips), so it comes up above my hips (as expected) and rests just below my navel. The length makes it hit me mid-thigh, but there’s also a wide slit. So beware if you don’t want something that shows quite a bit of leg. I’m comfortable with showing a lot of leg, so this worked for me.As for the paneling below my navel, the skirt doesn’t hold any of your tummy in on its own. That’s why I say that if you have a larger belly or low-belly pouch, you probably want to wear some shapewear just to help the skirt appear smooth and not bunch up awkwardly when you sit down or lean over. The skirt can fit you fine on your natural waist, but if you have that post-baby pouch you’re gonna probably get some unflattering “bulging” below the waistline of the skirt. Buying a larger size won’t help, that will just make the skirt hang off your natural waist and look like an A-line instead of a mini.Color:Purchased in BurgundyIn my opinion, the “Burgundy” is not very deep. I would consider it closer to a “Red Wine.” 🍷But to be more specific, a “Cabernet” color. To me, a true Burgundy has quite a bit of dark purple with red in it. This color looks like a dark red with some medium purple hues.I hope this review helps.

Very comfy but I could’ve gotten a size smaller! I think it runs a little big

It was a cute skirt. I had to return it because it was too small. I usually wear an 18 so I thought a 2x would work. There was no way I could zip it. If it more like a large.

Everything just right on this skirt

i love this skirt! i usually wear a 14/16 or a 31 in jeans and the xl fits like a glove. my only issue with it is that it rides up with every step you take. if you plan on wearing this out somewhere that you’ll be walking around, plan to keep one hand free so you can hold it in place lol. i don’t recommended putting it in the dryer (i haven’t tried but the material feels like it may melt) however, its gone through multiple wash cycles since i’ve had it and its still just as shiny and wearable. some thread runs on the seams but nothing major that cant be fixed with a quick snip w some scissors and clear nail polish.

The media could not be loaded.  I never had a leather skirt before but this shirt does ride up and don’t really have sinch in the waist so whatever size it is it will fit that way all the way up. This may be my body type but I did love the shirt and it was perfect for what I needed it to.

There wasn’t any noticeable smell when it arrived. It is very cute and well fitting. If you have a belly you might have to size up. My biggest gripe with this skirt is that it rises up when you move or walk which is annoying.
