Don't like it the chef preserve unit is much better. Storage bags a little expensive but worth it just wash the bags out after use with dish soap dry it and reuse bag.

This vacuum sealer is compact and works great for any leftover food that you would want to seal and preserve for longer storage. The vacuum is easy to use and is a must in every household's pantry. This product is reliable and a great buy!

Did well during the short time it worked. Now the heat strip does not heat, maybe because the power cord assembly has totally separated from the plug receptacle housing and wires are exposed. The cutter also fails to cut thru the plastic most times, although it cut well initially. If the expected life of this unit is to work 30 times, well it got close.With an inoperable heat strip – no seal; no seal - no vacuum. A unit that does not seal or vacuum makes for useless Vacuum Sealer!Super inferior build. Time to check quality of support and how they deal with failed equipment and frustrated customers.

I like the product a great deal. I do wish there had been more in depth manual for use. As far as size and ease of use, it's great!

I like this a lot more than the Foodsabet I had though it lasted a couple of years. This one has a lot better seal. The seal is a lot wider and stays intact so no air will get in. It seems to be a lot easier to control. I’ve had this a month and if I can get a year or two I’ll be happy! The price is also great! You’re going to pay at least double for a Foodsaver!

Nice to just test out the desire to vacuum sealer but it's crap for long term use.

I returned a more expensive product because it was slow and sometimes had a bad seal. This cheaper one is much faster, heats a wider strip that doesn't leak, and is easy to use. It appears to be well-made, but I have only used it a few times. All of the bags from my old machine work fine with this one.
