STAUBOval Magnetic Trivet, Wood, Brown, 29 cm

I thought I was taking a chance by buying the largest size available but although I measured the size out, it still seemed smaller than I was expecting in the flesh. Brilliant idea for cast iron, although probably better for dishes from the oven as only stated used up to 150c, which could exclude dishes from the hob

The size is a bit impractical for my large roasting pan, but the two that I bought work great with my cast iron dutch oven and cast iron sauce-pot. The magnets work quite well, but I would be cautious when carrying a hot pot any distance as the trivet could potentially get jostled out of position and hit your foot or cause some other damage. Overall, I am very satisfied, but I would still like to find a larger version for the big roaster.
