If you have tried to find a good aluminum free deodorant, you know the struggle is REAL. I have tried many that are too oily and stain my clothes, or others that contain way too much baking soda which can give your armpits a rash. This deodorant doesnt contain baking soda, theres no irritation, it doesnt stain my clothes. It is FABULOUS! Ive tried the Saffron & Cedar scent and the Santal & Vetiver. I really enjoyed both and the scent is subtle and not over powering. Ive worn this all day and even during a workout class and didnt have to reapply. It truly is skin care and considering deoderant is something I use daily, I find it worth the investment. My complaint is that it has a high price point. It is a luxury product, but considering other natural deodorants are around $14, its understandable. This brand is really high quality and works. This product usually lasts me about 2 months. I will admit, I was reapplying occasionally considering I really liked the smell. I think in the future I will try their perfumes. My other complaint is when you hit the end of the product, theres still quite a bit that you cant really get out. Again, its a really expensive product that wasting any of it HURTS. I did dig the remainder of the product out of the tube and just applied it using my hands- it was quite messy. Even so, I rate this product 5 stars!

I’ve tried countless natural deodorant; you name it, I’ve probably used it! This was honestly one of my last hopes an It actually works. It lasts well over 8 hours (up to 48 hours but does weaken in scent a bit), even with sweating. Overall, smells pleasant, applies soft and silky, causes zero skin irritation, and doesn’t leave any annoying residue on my clothes. I’m genuinely impressed and recommend. I know the price is steep but I believe the old saying you get what you pay for is true!

My absolute favorite deodorant! It works great to keep arm pit odorant away, has a light scent, and the ingredients are clean. I am a breast cancer survivor so using non-toxic products are very important to me. I also love that the deodorant glides on like butter. I have tried other clean deodorants before but they either don’t apply nicely, cause a rash (I think too much baking soda in them?), or require me to have to detox my pits every few months to prevent odors. I haven’t had to detox them even once since switching to this one. Absolutely recommend this one to anyone. :)

High quality deodorant and works great! Doesn’t leave skin feelings damp. However, the “Santal & Vetiver” scent isn’t their best option in my opinion. It kinda smells woody but I can’t describe it. The other smells are Super good though! Highly recommend product though, just not the scent I got lol

I’ve been using this specific scent for the past year! I love amber notes and it smells BEAUTIFUL! I get many compliments when I go in for a hug as I do layer this with other scents in my routine. It applies smoothly with no white casting unless you go overboard. It doesn’t irritate my skin and does feel soft upon application, however it does leave dark circles at times but I do work a rather active job so It may vary on sweat reaction and productivity. I’ve purchased a total of 4 over the past year and refuse to go back to any drug store brand as they also seek to fade quickly whereas this lasts me 8+plus hours at most about 12. Incredibly pleased with this product in the ways it has changed my confidence, I highly recommend!

This is my second time purchasing the Salt & Stone Santal & Vetiver deodorant, and it has officially earned a permanent spot in my routine. I’m pretty picky with deodorants, especially aluminum-free ones, because they either fade halfway through the day or feel thick and sticky. This one is the complete opposite. The formula is lightweight and feels clean the second you apply it — almost like it disappears into your skin but still gives real protection. Even on busy, nonstop days chasing kids, running errands, and sweating more than I’d like to admit, it truly lasts all day without needing a reapply. And somehow it still manages to feel breathable and comfortable, not heavy or waxy. The scent (Santal & Vetiver) is honestly one of my favorites. It smells expensive, fresh, and gender-neutral in the best way. It’s subtle but long-lasting, and it never turns weird throughout the day the way some natural deodorants can. A few things I personally love about it: ✔️ It lasts a long time — my first stick held up for months with daily use ✔️ Smooth, non-dragging application ✔️ No irritation, even on sensitive skin ✔️ Truly aluminum-free without sacrificing performance ✔️ Packaging feels luxe and minimal, not cheap I’ve tried so many “clean” deodorants that don’t deliver, but this one actually does everything it claims. The fact that I went back and bought it again says a lot — it just works, and it works consistently. Highly recommend if you want something natural but still strong enough to keep up with real life.

This was my first time using this brand and I used it faithfully for about 9 months. I've been using more natural and aluminum-free deodorants for several years now. I have sensitive underarms so I stay away from "clinical strength" or a lot of chemicals. I've tried both ladies' and men's brands (I'm a woman) and they only seem to work for a little while before they completely stop working and I have to switch to something new (or back to an old one). I decided to give this one a try after seeing it pop up on Amazon a lot and also because the one I was using isn't sold in stores and would sometimes take a week or more to get to me. My first impression of this deodorant was that I like the compact, round packaging and how easy it is to use (the bottom twists very smoothly). Secondly, IT SMELLS AMAZING. Black rose and Oud is such a delicious scent - lightly floral, sweet, a little powdery, and a little musky. Every time I applied it, I kept falling more in love with the scent. And it also applied to my underarms very smoothly and without any pulling or roughness. It's worth noting that I started using this deodorant during a heat wave; we had about three weeks of temperatures between 90-100 degrees F with 75-95% humidity. Surprise surprise, this deodorant held up! Mind you, it's deodorant and not antiperspirant, so, yes, I did sweat, but, no, I did not smell. I applied it once a day (or the night before) and had no issues. This deodorant also held up exceptionally when I was exercising and it did not leave me smelling bad at all after workouts. Now, where this deodorant DID NOT HOLD UP is when it came to hormone changes and (emotional) stress. Whenever that time of the month came around, the deodorant significantly weakened and I had to apply it again during the day. For me, that's actually normal and I pretty much have that happen with any deodorant. It's performance during stress was pretty terrible though. I went through a few months of intense mental/emotional stress and this deodorant completely failed me. The second I got anxious or stressed out, my armpits would start to pool and turn into a swampy mess and I would immediately smell terrible. Not once did the deodorant hold up to my stress sweat or funk, which was very disappointing since I liked it very much outside of that one issue. I ended up just throwing it away (since I wasn't sure when the stress would stop) and going back to my previous deodorant that worked wonderfully, now sells on Amazon, and I highly recommend: Kosas! It is pricey like this one, but the main selling point for me is that it contains AHA and BHAs that stop the funk and also brighten (and keep bright) the underarm area. It also neutralizes razor burn.

Mostly awesome, but here's the good and the bad: Good: It works! Surprisingly well (even at the gym). Smells WAY nicer than grocery store deodorant, and is natural, and I'm actually SUPER happy with it as a product. I have noticed NO stains on my clothes, too. I also find it weird people are complaining about the price when you KNOW what it costs when you buy it. natural things tend to be more expensive, so.... Bad: Ugh, the container, although superficially nice is a disaster (for me). The lid you screw off is SO flat (on the interior) that when you screw the deodorant out to use it, the top won't screw on unless you screw down the deodorant bar after each use. I find this a shockingly bad design and really annoying. So annoying, in fact, I gook off a star for it. Second, it appears that it's made with some kind of liquid - oil or water. During the day, when it's warm I believe it must sweat a little and leaves a slightly moist residue on the countertop. I don't really mind this personally - it wipes down without a problem. But I could see this being a problem. All in all, it's my go-to now.
