Blackadder Back and Forth [1999] [DVD]

I like all Blackadder's so getting this item is great

This DVD is pretty much a direct copy of the 1999 VHS release. It is clearly presented on DVD and the actual feature length episode is well directed and although having less laughs than the TV series did tells a good story. The video diary part is more of a filler than anything else, its just a bit of fun with little expense spared, dont expect anything more.

Picks up the eras that the original four series didn't cover....Who knew that Roman soldiers rank determined the length of their skirts?

Really enjoyed watching this AGAIN. I watch it on a regular basis.

excellent DVD production, I only miss the subtitles, could help for non-native English speaking audience.

The main feature is short, but okay. The extras are pretty awful (embarrassing). If you really want to complete your Blackadder collection, then go ahead. However, this is not nearly as good as series 1, 2, or 3. The style of humour is more akin to that of series 4 (i.e. less subtle, and more dependent on crudity).
