A thoughtful touch is the distinctive design of each wire: one side is smoothly finished, while the other bears grooves, making identification a breeze during setup.However, there's one aspect where the product could be enhanced — its packaging. The wire is sheathed entirely in plastic, and accessing it requires completely removing this protective cover. This might sound like a minor quibble, but when you're deep into the intricacies of landscaping, unwrapping the wire can become a tangled chore, leading to unintended project delays.In conclusion, the landscape light wire has much going for it, and I'd consider repurchasing it for future projects. But a packaging redesign is to facilitate easier unspooling and more convenient storage.

I purchased this 10-gauge low voltage wire expecting the same quality as the 12-gauge wire from the same brand, but I was sorely disappointed. The biggest issue is the poor insulation. When trying to split the wire down the middle to access the individual strands, the insulation tears too easily, exposing the copper inside. This isn’t just inconvenient; it’s a serious safety concern.I’ve used the 12-gauge wire before without any problems, so I assumed this would perform similarly. Unfortunately, it didn’t. I had already run this wire through my yard before installing artificial turf, thinking it was up to the task. Now, I’m faced with the frustrating and costly task of tearing up the newly installed turf just to replace this faulty wire.This product has caused me a lot of extra work and expense, and I’m really disappointed with the lack of quality control. If you’re looking for reliable low voltage wire, I would suggest avoiding this one. Save yourself the hassle and go for something with better insulation that won’t leave you regretting your purchase.

Used this Wirefy 12/2 wire to run power to my landscape lighting setup and it's been excellent. The gauge is substantial and the copper is clearly pure, high-quality material with no corrosion issues even after being buried outdoors. The 250ft length was perfect for covering my whole yard with some to spare, and the jacket feels durable and well-insulated against moisture. Easy to strip and work with when making connections. No voltage drop issues across the run. Great value for the quality — would definitely buy again for future landscaping projects.
