Having decluttered my home to accommodate a hospital bed downstairs for my lovely Ma, who died on May 1st, I bought a smaller table (for 2, not the six who never used it...) and got rid of the huge tablecloths too. Some would have brought too many memories back. The new table is oblong and oblong tablecloths are few and far between but this cloth looks beautiful, overhangs the table, which again shows off its looks, and complements the wall colouring too. It's not been used properly yet for a meal but everything about it is pleasing. I'm chuffed with my choice. I could have just gone down the bistro table (a neat little self assembly table with chairs also available on Amazon) minimalistic route but it looks complete with this cloth. Great value too.
