A great quick fix
I needed a quick fix to plug a leak in my cistern whilst I planned a complete replacement. Itโs quick and simple to use, I put it on the inside of my cistern top to bottom to plug a pretty big crack and it did the job perfectly.

Seems to have worked
We used this putty on an outside pipe that we attach the hose too. It randomly burst a hole in the winter when pipe froze. Used it as suggested to fill the whole and it seems to have done the job so far.

Very good so far.
As most reviewers stated itโs useless. One pin hole on a soldered joint, which had been heated too much, and the solder had leaked. I cleaned the area with emery cloth, packed it all the way round the joint. Left it overnight. It seemed watertight, but after a couple of hours itโs weeping, so am I after wasting over ยฃ5.00. ๐ข (New review) I decided to give it another go. I scraped away the material where it was weeping, leaving enough to bond a fresh layer. It is two days since I applied the fresh layer and so far no sign of any leakage. The pipe is under mains pressure feeding an outside tap, the leak is on an elbow attached to the tap. The pipe and elbow are just about protruding out of a small hole cut into the house wall, which is an extremely awkward place to get at. Iโll give a five star rating, instead of the original one star rating and see what happens.

Kind of works but not for my problem
Did not stop my leak, could not get the pipe dry enough for the paste to stick to it.

Quality Item worth every penny
used this as a temporary measure to seal up a common defect in an Ideal boiler sump. Well.........it was supposed to be temporary ;) and I thought as soon as it starts leaking again I will order the part and replace it. Erm yeah its still holding and not one sign of any leaking. I was dubious to say the least but this stuff is just superb, I cannot believe that ive not seen it before or used it.

Useless
Bought to plug a leak temporarily while waiting for a plumber. Worked great for all of about an hour and then started leaking through it, applied more, same thing.

It worked eventually.
I used this putty to repair a pinhole leak on a radiator. It was hard at first to get a good seal, it took 4 attempts before I sealed it. You need to press really hard for it to seal and adhere properly around the leak, you need to hold it very firmly for 10 minutes, do this with a small amount of putty no bigger than your finger tip, enough to cover around the leak hole liberally. Slice a piece horizontally to get the right mix of epoxy and putty, not using too much, a little goes a long way with this.
