TP Activity Toys Aqua Slide

We picked this item because it was a longer length than most and was described as a more durable material and on receipt it was exactly as described and has been a favourite during the recent spell of really hot weather. Being concious of not wasting water we dribbled water from a bucket along it every so often which seems perfectly adequate and the water temperature was a bit warmer than from a hose which is all too easy to for excitable children to trip over. After 2 weeks of near daily usage it seems quite probable that this product can be rolled up and brought out next year, weather permitting, and if not the kids and their friends will have had value for money from it.

The "reservoir" rectangle at the top (a foam inlay at one end) was deformed when I unpacked this, but it doesn't really affect the usage. It's just about long enough for 5-8 year olds. We have a gently sloping lawn which helps as I think it would be tough to hold on to any speed on a flat lawn. It doesnt stay down. There are metal pegs to hold the top/entry end down which work well enough (you can push them right down into the lawn so they cannot hurt anyone), but there is nothing to hold the rest of it down in even a light breeze. We are putting some plastic tennis racquets each side near the bottom, but it still flps up in the middle quite often.

The media could not be loaded.  I ordered this a while ago but have been waiting for warm enough weather to get it out. I followed the advice seen here and made sure to hose down the children first, trickle some fairy liquid over my TP Rapide slide and the blue plastic, and off they went! My 2 and 4 year olds loved it, although we had to be careful as our garden wasn't long enough for the whole slide so we had to catch them at the end! I'd also say be careful if you are using the aqua slide with a "proper" slide with steps, especially if using fairy liquid, as the steps and children get very slippery. Also warn young ones about coming off the blue mat before standing up or else they will just slip over again.

It is ok but don't expect anything other than a sheet of strong plastic. If you can be bothered to do it you could easily get a similar effect with a large tarpaulin or as stated some extra strong plastic sheeting. The kids loved it though so for me it was worth the money. Best used on a sloping lawn that you don't mind getting very muddy at the end of the slide. Do make sure there are no sharp or hard objects under the slide as this can cause bruising. Overall II was pleased to have bought this as a birthday present.

We wanted a long slide and this fitted the bill. The metal prongs to keep it in place are a little confusing but my husband found it all fine. It is what it is - fun for a summer or two, will surely rip eventually but appeared to be the best buy out there and has a great length for the perfect dive.

Fantastic fun for a party. Have used it twice and seems solid. A bit fiddly so we ended up just spraying it with hose and lathering it up with non-toxic washing up liquid.

When we received this product we didn't feel it was worth the money spent. It is, after all, just a long piece of plastic. However, having said that, the enjoyment had by both my sons and my 13 year old's friends on his birthday was worth every penny!

Could do with being a bit wider as the kids tend to always go off on one side. The foam bit inside the top which is designed to hold some water at bottom of slide is a bit rubbish, hard to get it round the edge, likes to get screwed up so I've given up trying to keep sorting it out.
