I used this for the first time this week to replace the firing pin on my shotgun. The black rubber block easily held the bolt while I removed the firing pin, spring. and firing pin retainer. The punch pins seem pretty strong and the small mallet is great for installing the trigger pins back into the receiver.

Surprisingly good for the price. I've spent a lot more for this type of tool and got a lot less. The bench block is as good as any.

Great punches, weak hammer

These are very good quality and come with a nice set of gunsmithing extras. Good hammer and roll case. This is a very good set .

Punch set works great. Had 3 projects needing a punch to pop out pins. Worked great.

If you don't have a roll pin punch set yet, start here. Good basic set with most of the sizes you'll probably need. Stop using your standard tools for gunsmithing work--sure, you might not use gunsmithing tools every day, but if nothing else, you'll have a hammer with a soft mallet that won't mar your firearm like your carpenter's hammer will. I know you're cheap, but these don't cost much, and will probably save your afternoon someday.

Good tool to have. Has most of the different size punches used in gunsmithing. Made the job of installing new triggers much easier.
