Solsop Hydraulic Crimping Tool 4–70 mm² with 9 Hex Dies, Battery Cable Crimping Tool for Copper and Aluminium Terminals, Electrical Wiring, Automotive and Battery Cables

Previously used a set of large manual crimps. Crimping 35mm² wire alone was a challenge and the crimps were never neat. These are great, crimp the wire neatly and so much easier to use than manual crimps. Did use the correct size first then swap to the next size down just to make extra tight, but don't crimp all the way with that one as you will break the crimp. As one of the cheaper tools on Amazon they are great value and perfect for DIY use.

Great item better than we thought Easy to use

Purchased for a project and worked well on 6 mm crimps. Haven't tested on other sizes but are sturdy crimpers. It is easy to select the size of crimp by pushing the pin in and rotating the jaws to required size. It would be good if crimpers had a ratchet mechanism to hold crimp as you feed the wire in prior to crimp but with a bit of practice not a big deal.

Tried this crimper with the crimps provided and they just pulled off. Best time saving tip is, if you buy the crimper with the crimps, chuck the crimps straight in the bin and buy some decent ones. They are absolute rubbish and it is a shame that an otherwise decent tool comes with them. I nearly sent the crimper back but decided to try some decent crimps first, perfect result. Would have given the crimper 5 stars but crimps let it down, simply not fit for use.

COMPLETE TRASH Manages tocrimp one wire and then the unit just kept leaking oil and then wouldn't pump /no pressure So i crimped one wire with this and it di it well. I thn set the crimper down to do other stuff and picked it backup a little While later to use again and oil poured out from the hole in the end of the fat handle.. The whole bottom part screws off to show a crappy plastic cap and a rubber reservoir and on further inspection has a what looks like two little pin holes in it that the fluid is seeping-out of into the main handle then when you pick it up runs out the hole in the bottom and all over you and your stuff. The handle you pump also has a stupid amount of useless travel.. And the dies dont even stay aligned up in the unit RETURNED… JUNK

easy to use when you figure out the size crimp. Could be marked as to wire size, numbers are not AWG or any that I know.

Vernünftiges Werkzeug für den Hausgebrauch. Auch mein Hauselektriker benutzt als Profi die gleiche Crimpzange. Die Kabelabtrennzange schneidet sehr gut und sauber. Mein Elektriker gab für das Werkzeug auch seinen "Segen".

Pince simple, la construction semble solide, m'a permis de faire une bons sertissage de mes cables et cosse de batterie, la boite de cosse fournie avec est la bienvenue aussi.

Sur mon voilier j’ai plein de sertissage à effectuer. Cette outils fait le travail à merveille
