24 Colour Spools Sewing All Purpose 100% Pure Cotton Thread Reel

Excellent quality thread. I didn't realise how good it was until I recently bought a different type of thread for my sewing machine. This glides through the machine really smoothly, has a nice sheen and really strong. Fantastic range of colours. Highly recommend.

Very pleased with this purchase. I was looking for a good selection of coloured threads without paying a fortune. There was a good variety of colours, pastel and bright to match up with most clothes for repair and to suit my needlework. Unlike the picture though the threads came on a plastic reel not cardboard as pictured which I feel is more sturdy. I don't use a sewing machine a lot, last time was over 7 years ago but I believe these would fit on a sewing machine since they are the same size as the few sewing machine reels I have. The ends of the threads are tucked underneath the thread and some were harder to find the start of than others but I didn't have to resort to cutting as some people did so hopefully that's not a problem anymore. With the cheap price I paid I was expecting that the quality of the thread wouldn't be great but I was pleasantly surprised. It was good strong cotton. I put it through a good stress test when I received them to check it out and it took a lot of effort to snap the thread so I'll definitely have to have my embroidery scissors choose to hand. I've not had any problems using this thread in my needlework, is been just as good as my more expensive gutermann thread. The only downside is that there is no slot to store the end of the thread when not being used but that's a really minor downside for 24 reels of thread. Will definitely purchase these again.

not sure how robust for sewing machine dressmaking but freemason work they're ideal

I am somewhat disappointed with these threads. Although the feel high quality, they just snap every time I use them in my sewing machine. Great for hand stitching, beautiful colours, but snapping at the first slight tug is not high quality in my mind.

Not as strong as polyester thread, but great for 100% cotton projects. I am quite heavy handed, so I have snapped the thread by accident a few times, but far less than I expected to while using pure cotton, as it is always going to be more fragile. Fairly strong, decent colour selection and excellent price. I love how fine this thread is, it has been excellent for my EPP hand quilting, very easy to hide my stitching.

Needed these badly to complete an assignment to do with freehand embroidery, they aren't the best threads in the world but for the price they're actually very strong and I LOVE the range of colours. If you want to know roughly how strong they are I was using them to freehand with an embroidery hoop at the sewing machines full speed, I believe it was a Bernina 1008 :) The packaging on the inside of the amazon box was kind of off putting though, it sort of cheapened the product in a way!

Good colour selection to repair our family clothes. Where I live, our local sewing stores closed. I like the idea to have all this thread on hand so I can repair the family cloths quicker.

Pretty good quality for the price. I must note that the quantity of each color is rather small, but it's nice to have a variation of colours for small projects
