The Ultimate Pub Quiz Book: More than 10,000 questions! (The Pub Quiz Book series)

We love quizzing and I wanted something simple and inexpensive for 3 adults to be able to use over Christmas. This book was the answer. There are a good range of questions and please be assured that the answers at the bottom of the page are not the answers to the questions above, meaning that the person chairing the quizz can also join in as they don't have any advantage.We used quite a bit over the holidays and still have hundreds of pages to use in the future.

Plenty of questions, well 10,000 to be precise. Divided into Easy, Medium and Hard. Unfortunately in my opinion there are too many easy - %age split is roughly 40:40:20 respectively. Questions come in groups of 30 under headings such as Pot Luck, Sport, Movies, Books, TV etc..Answers are sometimes a bit terse. A further sentence might have better explained why an answer was correct e.g. where it's a 50/50 choice between 2 options.

Great fun for most ages from 14 to 114 (in my opinion). Questions are reasonably easy, general knowledge. I have found the occasional incorrect answer, but only a few.My office lunchtimes are now taken up with us asking each other questions and it's just been a really good fun way to pass time without having to think too hard. 10,000 questions should keep us out of trouble for a while!

This is a great quiz book. The 30 question rounds are arranged by popular pub quiz round topics and offer a good variety of difficulty in each round. The answers are at the bottom of a nearby page so you're not constantly having to go to the back of the book but you do have to turn the page so reduces the ability to cheat!Loads of 'pot luck' rounds covering an impressive spread of subjects.

Repetitive quizzes! the same type of questions copy pasted from one page to another and not very interesting either. Not the most enjoyable quiz book !

Brilliant book. Two years in and it still comes out for quiz games. Something for everyone and all levels.

Loaded with quiz questions on each page. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I felt some of the questions were very similar from page to page for example the dart board questions, but there are alot of questions so this is not too much of an issue.

The questions were diverse. One of them caused an argument that spoiled the evening. Is the moon a 'planet'? Would be better worded as 'heavenly body' perhaps. But I will use the book again... avoiding all questions with this type of problem.All games and arguments aside it's a nice book to read and test oneself too.

its a nice book: however it is written in the UK so many of the questions are based on people's knowledge of living in England not the US. So if you are planning on running trivia shows in the US. Plan on buying another book. This simple will not help you.
