Seller Sent Nearly Expired Product and It Shows - DO NOT BUY
Two packs received March 2, 2024. Both expire March 3, 2024. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!Nearly all cracker sticks arrived broken and the chocolate dip has an unsettling pitted texture. It’s clear these packs had not been stored and shipped properly. And if you think this looks bad, wait ‘til you taste it. As expected with a nearly expired item, the crackers were stale with a chalky flavorless dip. Barf.I LOVED YanYan as a child so imagine the excitement when I saw them on Amazon. I’m so disappointed. Nostalgia gone. Better stick with Pocky, I guess.Shame on this Seller.

The knockoffs of this product make me want to punch a hole through my computer.
Ever see the so-called "Hershey's Spreads" and "Nutella & Go!" crap that litters the display shelf of checkout aisles in grocery stores? Pure, unapologetic ripoffs of a product that is superior in every possible way, yet is blatantly disrespected by being shelved at the back of Asian food aisles where only those actually seeking it out would find - Meiji's own "Yan Yan".So what makes Yan Yan so great? The cup screams "fun". I've been snacking on these since before I was five, and can confirm that the superiority of this product is rooted in absolute fact. Granted, a lot of the phrases written on the biscuits seem like they were, in fact, translated by someone before five years of age, but who's to say a squirrel isn't my "best friend" or that a whale isn't the "biggesy animal"? Heck, if that still doesn't convince you, Yan Yan comes in several different flavors! Chocolate? Nah, why stop there? Strawberry? Vanilla? Mango? Hazelnut? Cheese? Even double cream? That's like one for every color of the rainbow, and if you don't think that's absolutely incredible, then clearly nothing impresses you.The only gripe I could honestly find with this product after years of snacking is that often the cream will run out, leaving the biscuits sad and forlorn. However, the most experienced snacker should know how to evenly distribute each stick. And here's a bit of "word of advice": Unless you live in an area that does not have Yan Yan available locally, don't buy this product online. You can find it at a much cheaper prince in-store. Nonetheless, skip the audacious American knockoffs, and stick with the real deal. Would you buy a Lexus made of styrofoam with plastic windows? I think I've made my point.

Classic Chocolate Snack with a dip!
This sweet treat is definitely a favourite, and I soon found myself running out of the chocolate dip and I didn't know what to do with the rest of the biscuits so it's best to dip with caution. There are also two other flavours in this Meiji Yan Yan series - vanilla and strawberry that you might want to try out as well.* As the packaging is filmsy (depends on your shipper's use of materials), be sure that to check that the sticks inside aren't broken upon receiving it. Your shipping provider would be sensible enough to provide a hardcover packaging due to the fragility of the food. Moreover, to ensure that it's safe for consumption, check the expiry date which should be written somewhere on the back cover/bottom of the packaging.
