Always quality even though not brand new.
The description is always true to the product. A little mark here or there is always mentioned so happy to buy from here with the used tag. So happy to find this book as well as people are trying to sell it at extortionate prices elsewhere. Thanks again for great quality at a low price with quick service and truthful comments about the product state.

New team
This was a decent book. Had a lot going on. First story dealt with the getting Victoria Hand as a advisor. She was a former ally of Osborn. She is interesting. They do not know if they can trust her. The first half of the book dealt with magical stuff. They fought some powerful being. One magic guy gets killed. The story and book had too many jokes and the team just seemed like it was no big deal. Thing joined the team. Not needed. A flashback story that tied into the second story about taking on a Hammer/Hydra cell. Fury team which had Kraven and Sabertooth and others you do not really care about. They go on a mission to kill Nazis and take out a fake Red Skull. ZZZZZ. The Avengers in present time take on the Osborn Hammer group. Mockingbird gets hurt. She should have died. They cop out with the story and make her a super soldier like Captain America and Nick Fury. Should have let hr die. She is useless Jessica Jones whines in most of this book and the others about should she be an Avenger and can she do that and raise a kid and be married to Luke Cage. She is a useless and overrated hero. She was never good at it to begin with. Book even has the heroes do confessionals about why they are Avengers. It was cool. Iron Fist and Spiderman get new shiny suits. Spiderman gets screwed, Hard luck guy. So many different Avenger teams and people on this team when they have time. Team overload. Even Daredevil joins at the end. Nothing special about being an Avenger. Seems like anyone can join if you have friends.

This story is fantastic. The first half is largely a battle of mysticism on a grand scale, with Doctor Strange and Iron Fist leading the charge against an ancient enemy. My only complaint with that story is that while Iron Fist got that awesome costume change, nobody had said a SINGLE WORD ABOUT IT and it is kinda driving me nuts because Iron Fist is one of my favorite characters of all time so I HAVE TO KNOW. Though this was more than likely explained in a future volume I haven't seen yet. Aside from that, it's wonderful. There is an enormous amount of levity and humor especially involving Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. I legitimately laughed while reading some of this. The 1950's storyline was enjoyable enough and was brought full circle into a parallel present-day storyline following it. You don't even have to be invested in the entire New Avengers series to follow along with this and enjoy. I've personally only read this and Volume 3, also an excellent read and normally I insist on continuity. That being said, this is worth your time. Spider-Man, Luke Cage, Doctor Strange, Wolverine, and Iron Fist are standout characters throughout, but even a more obscure character like Squirrel Girl, whom I had no real interest in, was also given an excellent spotlight, and now I actually like the character because of it.
