Oberto All Natural Jalapeno Bacon Jerky, 2.15 Ounce Bag

I like hot food...not burn my mouth forever food but food with a good warm kick. If that is you too than you'll like this bacon jerky. Has a good grilled jalapeno chipotle smell as you open the package. Flavor is strong but not overpowering & the hot is a smooth heat that lasts a good minute or so. Really enjoyable.I keep a handful of bags around...usually a bag lasts me 2 days of grazing...I'm slightly addicted to this. The bags I've had have all been pretty consistent...no complaints. The fat, which really boosts the flavor, varies bag to bag but overall this is a great product. Wish smoked snacks were a little cheaper in general but I'm still buying it.

This jerky tastes great to me and although it is a bit spicier than I originally expected, I still found it to have a good balance of that spice and jerky flavor. Although many reviews complain that the product is overpriced, when comparing other big brand competitors who also make a similar products, it seems to be about average. No matter how you look at it typically bacon is not a cheap meat especially when you consider it has to be dehydrated in order to make it jerky resulting it the meat loosing some of its weight. Overall I am happy with this product and will be purchasing it again!

Great jalapeño flavor and kick to and already good bacon jerky. I always find Oberto is just one step above the other bacon jerky you find at the store. (None top Savage Jerky but that's special order and more expensive). I love spicy food and this actually has a nice bit of heat to it. One of the better bacon jerky flavors I've had so far.

I got this as a joke gift for my husband for Christmas (a well-regarded bacon fanatic) and he really liked it! Flavor is (apparently) good and strong without being overwhelmingly spicy or killingly salty (like some jerky apparently is - yes, a lot of "apparently" here, because I'm not a fan of jerky but he is!)... Good price and packaging.

I ordered this jerky to try it out. As a previous reviewer stated that the Jalapeño flavor is powerful but not too overwhelming. This is true and the jerky does tastes great. What overwhelming is the price. $8.99 for 2.5 ounces is just too much. I like it but a little too expensive to order more.

OK I guess! the couple of bags I tried were a lot of fat and low meat, for the price! I can go to grocery and get more ounces and cook myself. plus I can see the fat to meat ratio! like I said, its good if you too lazy to cook bacon yourself!

Two of my favorites. The "Jalapeno" aspect is via a somewhat powdery coating (-1) but the taste is good (the "after-sting" is delightful). This product does have a "jerky" like texture (and is similarly chewy) so if you like that...

Are you kidding me?!? This stuff is DA BOMB! It's seriously delicious and has a fantastic kick. Highly recommended.I bought 5 different kinds of bacon jerky to do a taste test, and this one is the winner.
