Teatime: 50 cakes and bakes for every occasion

Oh I am a huuuuge Cath Kidston fan, I would go as far as to say that I am pretty obsessed actually. I am not a baker at all but after looking at some of the recipes from this book online I knew I had to buy this and try it. Some of the ingredients I'll admit aren't things that you would have laying around in your cupboard at home but a quick trip to the supermarket and I was ready to start baking. As I said, I am as amateur as they come so I wasn't expecting great things or that any of the recipes I followed would turn out to be remotely like the pictures but do you know what? I surprised myself! I made some party ring biscuits and the earl grey cake. The recipes are clear and easy to follow and they must have been to say that I produced something edible! I look forward to getting my apron on once again and making some more treats!

OMG these recipes are amazing and really easy . I would definitely recommend this to anyone and it will make an excellent gift too.

Thus book is a real gem some lovely recipes . Brought for my daughter who loves kath kitson. but had to buy another for me who loves baking because it was so good .

Bought as a gift.My girlfriend is a massive Cath Kidston fan and a huge fan of cooking generally. This seemed like a really good mix of the two. We haven't made anything from it yet (what with the madness of Christmas) but she has already been through and bookmarked a number of the recipes to try.

Gave this book to my daughter-in-law as part of her birthday gift and she wAs delighted with it

Great recipes some very different, look forward to making them.

A well laid out book with some great bakes. the recipes are easy to follow but felt 50 wasn't enough.

Bought this as a gift so can’t comment on the recipes but the condition of the book wasn’t perfect. There were some scuffs and marks, especially on the spine of the book.
