I bought a set of these for the guest house main room a while ago-they looked beautiful in a side room facing west with the afternoon sun coming in. They have held up very nicely there, and I loved the look so much I bought a second set for a music room I'm redecorating. They are sheer enough to see through from inside during the day, but substantial enough to screen the room from the outside. I added a second set of curtains to pull over them if I am using the room at night with lights on. I got the light gold set with sparkles added to the lace swirls and those twinkle a little in sunlight. I'm very, very happy with these!

Had to do a quickie, zero-budget guest room makeover in our cedar house. Every other item was already on-hand so I laid out $50 for window coverings. They pulled everything together and elevated this hodgepodge to an eclectic, peaceful space.Guests who sleep in this room now comment on how lovely the suffused light through the curtains is and the charming embroidery. The quality is decent and they hang nicely. The machine embroidery is well done, no strings or other issues.

Very high quality stitching - the embroidery on these curtains is perfect, understated, yet eye-catching and unique. Looks expensive (well, it's not super cheap at $50, but still much higher quality than $50 would normally buy!) and does not look like cookie-cutter sheer or lace. At first I was a little bummed that the base material is more of a sheer, and isn't a very natural-feeling fiber, but I'm realizing it looks like a natural linen, but better because it doesn't wrinkle. I love these - I did not need two panels on one window, so I used one panel for my kitchen and one for my bedroom! Very unique design for a lace curtain, too. Reminds me of France ;p
