It's an intense bar of soap. The scent is so strong we smelled it just grabbing our package from a locker. I thought something had leaked. It's a gorgeous scent but one better reserved in a perfume for a cold night out. It was just far too strong for me when it came to daily wear. Still, there is no escaping that this is a luxurious and beautiful scent. I feel luxurious after I use this soap. The lather is good. The feeling is pleasant. I feel clean and pampered. It's definitely a treat. The rope is genius as it's great for keeping hung afterwards and I don't have to worry about a yucky slimy soap dish. Stays put, stays organized. My only issue is that the soap is quite drying on the skin. It's not moisturizing and I have extremely dry skin so it did get irritating for me. Not something I can use all of the time. Again, it's for cold nights out in my opinion. The way I solved the problem was just to apply a bath oil or some sort of scent free body oil afterwards because I got zero hydration from this soap.

This is the Soap of Soaps! Why, you may ask? Great scent (choose Favorite or any of their wonderful fragrance options); smooth silky lather; long-lasting soap bar. Yes, I spent $20 for a bar of soap! I have spent $5 to $12 for other fragrances soaps, British, French and Australian, only to find them looking dismal: faded and peeling or separating into layers. Claus Porto soaps maintain their color, shape and fragrance down to the last tiny bit. Worth it!

Preety expensive. You can get one twice the size for $6 more. My mistakes I thought this was the larger size for a good price. The bar last a long time. This is my favorite scent of the claus soaps.

This is amazing soap. It is packaged beautifully, has a wonderful scent and lasts a long time. I would highly recommend it!

Product review for This is a giant 12.4-ounce soap, with a handy cotton cord I wrap around my wrist or to hang it up to dry. It’s made from a veggie base packed with grape seed and argan oils that clean gently without drying my skin, and it lasts forever. The scent is a fresh floral kick, tart red berries up top, rosy middle, and a peppery patchouli finish that wakes me up every morning. Quality shows in every detail, from the ingredients to the pretty packaging, and one bar is going strong after weeks of daily use. My complaints are it is way too big and will last forever, very expensive at 40 dollars.

Favorito is my favorite Claus Porto scent. I was a bit disappointed and wondering if this was authentic Claus Porto. The scent was not the same and the soap did not last as long as bars I used to get. If it is authentic, I’m very sad at the decline. This used to be the best soap money could buy. Now, I’m not sure it’s worth the cost anymore. It was still decent soap but I can find a million other soaps of similar quality for less cost now. Not sure where I’ll find a scent to compare to old favorito though. If you’ve ever really smelled a really big beautiful poppy… that’s how it smelled. Exactly like that. Now, not so much, just a vaguely floral, almost lily scent. It also doesn’t have the massive amounts of luxurious, soft suds I remember. Boo. 😒 Meh, it’s okay. Kinda like every other triple milled soap on the market. Better than supermarket soaps but not exceptional. Unless it’s not Claus Porto. I’ll try one more time directly from their site.

Its soap on a rope, whats not to like? Loved having my soap on a rope its so convenient because no more awkward soap drops in the shower an the smell is wonderful! It always leave my skin as smooth as a baby’s bottom.
