I really like this oil and have tried it a number of different ways. I tried it on my wet hair instead of my regular hair product---just to help control my hair when I go to bed so it’s not out of control in the morning. I’ve also used it on my dry hair when it starts to get frizzy after my regular product has worn off a bit. Both uses worked for me. My hair is pretty dry and so it didn’t ever look greasy. Rather, my hair just sucked up the moisturizers. Not really sure about the hair growing part; I guess this would be something that would happen over time. The scent is nice and not over powering. The packaging looks really high-end and the oil dropper makes it easy to use. Even with how much I like this, I just can’t see myself buying this again at a $49 price point. This seems pretty steep to me. I guess I’ll just enjoy the bottle I have and then move on. Only gave 4 stars because of the price.

All the chemicals I've used over the years, along with my hair's bleaching and coloring, have left my hair dry and damaged. I needed anything to improve its hydration and wellness. My hair felt much more hydrated as a result and was less dry and frizzy. Since I don't want to use products that have a lot of chemicals, I was a fan of the excellent ingredient list. I enjoy the slight aroma that this oil has.

I'm not sure if I would be comfortable paying $50 for something like this, but the oil does work well for dry and brittle hair and the bottle itself has a very premium feel.I use it once in awhile on my ends and it helps add moisture back into my hair. I typically use this after getting out of the shower when my hair is wet (although you could use it on dry hair as well. It may make your hair look a bit greasy though). A little does seem to go a long way so the bottle should last awhile. Unlike other reviewers, I found this product to have a mild and pleasant smell. I would definitely purchase again if it was a little less expensive.

I love making my own hair products for myself. Lately, I've been looking for an oil to add to my hair grease, deep conditioner, and hair mask products. I decided to try this to see if there is a difference. After one month I noticed that my hair grew slightly, but my daughter's hair grew more. It makes my scalp not feel so dry. When I add it to my deep conditioner, my natural curls and coils really stand out. Perhaps it's the fact that omega is considered a good fat, but it goes really well with hair products. I didn't really like using it by itself, but adding it products that I already use or things I already make...gave it an extra boost.

Great option of you are seeking a plant based omega three oil. The fragrance isn’t super strong out of the dropper but once on the skin or hair, it’s pretty potent. It has a peppery floral scent. It’s nice but can be overwhelming. The oil is nearly clear, just a slight yellow tint. This is important to me because I have bleached blonde hair and darker colored hair oils will make my hair more gold and less ash.The oil is thin and dries quickly, not thick or greasy at all. My dry hair sucks this up. With this oil, my hair looks shinier (almost wet look) but doesn’t really feel softer.

I really wanted to love this oil. I would have given it 5 stars for its performance… it is very moisturizing and seals the cuticle on your damaged ends…. But I would give 1 star for the scent. I literally felt self conscious all day bc I all I could smell was fish. The scent is awful and legit smells like fish oil.I am a professional hairdresser and have tried tons of oil products. My first time using this, I put way too much on my ends. My hair looked totally greasy and oily. (This was totally my fault). The second time, I used 4 drops and I really like the results. I also tried it on dry hair (just on my ends) and I think I actually liked that better than putting it on my wet hair. The directions say you can also massage into your scalp but I did not try that. I would imagine it would help someone with really dry flakey scalp.Overall, this product works great but the smell is just too fishy. Maybe I got a bad batch bc everyone else says it smells like peonies.
