Best built scissors.
I found these scissors to be well built, they were advertised as sharp my particular pair missed the edge of the blade by a good 1/16 of an inch. They worked well as they came but I went ahead and finish the edge which was noticeable when used but I would still buy these again.

Heavy duty
These are really sharp and made of heavy material. I'd highly recommend.

Fantastic quality except for safety latch
These scissor/knife combo is LEGIT with all metal construction and a hefty weight. The appearance looks classy and fun with a vibrant sparkling texture on the handle. The blades are very sharp and the cutting is smooth and easy on raw meat and veggies so far.Unscrewing the knob at the center (shown in the photos) allows the separation of the scissors into two knives. Reassembling the scissors is easy- you just have to make sure to properly set the spring back in place with one of the ends sitting in the recessed nook and the other end not (this will make sense when going through this process but is tough to show through photos). My only concern/disappointment is the safety latch. It’s operated by a spring and when the handle is squeezed it pops out of the nook it sits in and opens the scissors. Overall, this design is clever but the design of the handles causes the latch to sit higher on one handle than the other handle so it doesn’t sit flat inside the nook meant to hold it in place to keep the scissors closed. I tried to show this in the photos. Half the latch sits in the nook but the rest of it sits above it so the latch isn’t secure. You have to press it down into place. One touch of the scissors and the latch pops open so the latch doesn’t really work as intended. This isn’t a concern for me because there aren’t kiddos romping around and I place it in the drawer with the blades facing away but this certainly could be a concern for others potentially.Overall, the quality and function is fantastic and I’d recommend! But the safety latch alignment needs some adjustment to work as intended.

Very strong shears, but not good for small stuff
These are really strong shears that are easy to use and have sharp blades. The blades look good and the grips are excellent for being able to hold onto, even with hands that are a bit greasy from the food your working on.I used these shears to spatchcock a chicken, as far as I'm concerned the only right way to make them. The shears very easily cut right through the bones and released the spine with no problems at all. The problem came in when I tried to cut the skin at the end, once you're past the bones to cut against it just stopped cutting. The skin easily squeezed between the blades, and I need to cut and recut many times to get through it. It was almost enough to make me pull out a knife for the last bit of the cut. These are as easy to clean as any other shears while assembled, but are very easy to take apart to clean the more difficult parts. The additional spring that is included in the pack in case you lose one while cleaning is a nice touch, and I think these will last a long time.Overall I really like these shears and will use them frequently when I need to cut through tough meats or bone, but I'll keep a knife handy for when I need to get through thinner things.
