First thing I suppose is that I expected to get four finger guards plus one to fit the thumb. I got the thumb guard but only two for the fingers. I ordered mine as I'd previously incurred a couple of quite nasty cuts to my fingertips when dicing up apples to add to breakfast cereal. No protection is afforded for this particular form of dexterous activity with these as once the tactile feel of the fingers is impaired by these guards I felt more vulnerable to ending up with accidental cuts rather than feeling safer about about being protected from them. Never mind, they are quite unsuitable for my needs but you don't know 'til you try do you.Eamonn
