Conair Deshedding Brush for Dogs and Cats, Self-Cleaning Slicker Brush, Grey

I didn't realize this brush didn't have the safety tips. It's just metal, but unlike others I tried it didnt hurt with a test against my own skin. The pop out feature sucks though. It doesn't pop to the top and the fur stayed on until trying to clean it, some of the bristles got under the plastic and it wouldn't close at all. Had to take off plastic housing to keep using it. We still use it but cant rate this highly. Their smaller rounded brush, which we bought at the same time, actually takes off more loose fur and has the soft tips. Our cat likes it more too.

Brush is a little stiff but is exactly what is needed to brush my dog who has an undercoat.
