I enjoy the smell of this bag. It holds everything a guy needs for grooming. Good size for travel. Has a couple zippered pouches 1 inside and 1 outside for little stuff. Good buy.

The media could not be loaded. This is a great toietry bag that just needs a little TLC. First things first:che smell.If you've ever been in a barne around horses you'll recognize the smell as saddle soap + whatever else is used to treat horse saddles. It's a similar smell to old school shoe shine. Don't like it? Leave the bag outside for a couple of hours, preferably in the sun. It will evaporate.Second thing: The leather is really tough/dry/brittle. It needs to be moisturized. Just like your skin, real leather is skin. If it dries up you need to moisturie it. The solution? Neatsfeet oil, leather conditioner, even coconut oil works. I've even heard of people using regular lotion on their leathers.i received this bag and preemtively left it outside for about 4 hours after opening the package. The smell wasn't even that strong for me but I did it anyways. When I brought it in, I applied a coat of neatsfoot oil and put it outside again to dry overnight. In the morning I applied thin coat of lether conditioner and let it dry for about another hour or two. Then applied a second coat of the oil. You probably don't need the conditioner to be honest.Anyways the bag is now soft, looks nice and doesn't smell bad. It's a bit smaller than my previous dopp bag but it fits all I ever need.

So, my first delivery of this item was received opened and screwed up at the bottom of an envelope. I returned it and the second was received sealed and in good condition. As such it seems pretty decent, made of leather, lined and good size. Feels sturdy. I would say though the reports of a very strong odour in other reviews are true. It's not just a leather smell, I guess it's whatever they use to treat the leather but it's pretty strong. I have left mine out to air. You will pay many times more for a plastic one of lower quality in a high street retailer so, as long as the smell fades, it is a decent purchase.

The leather shaving bag will do the job, but it came so wrinkled that it would not unwrinkle with time and awhen I tried to steam it with a steamer. Not as impressive a gift as I was hoping. Looks kind of cheap comparedc to other leather, but works good enough.

My father has been using it for quite some time. Has enough space to hold toiletries. Sturdy and easy to carry. Can also be used to carry other materials not limited to toiletries.

It's not as heavy duty rustic as my buffalow skin shave kit .Its good for the price i paid and is in daily use.
