Great product
Bought this as a spare for when my Granddaughter sleeps over. Good quality, so simple to set up using the plugs...Great sound and picture quality/Night vision. Can zoom in using the monitor and turn noise up and down. For the price it's absolutely great! Thank you.

Exactly as described
Excellent baby monitor. Easy to use, rechargeable, portable screen. Holds charge well. Small but ideal. Perfectly clear picture - night vision too. Good value.

SM25
I purchased the SM25, the cheaper, smaller one of the options after our 6 year old Angelcare system finally kicked the bucket. We spent about £150 on the Angelcare one so £35 for this felt like a risk, but it had good reviews and we don't need another 6 years out of this one, so I took a chance. It seems really high quality so far. The screen is obviously smaller than on many but I like it being compact and the size doesn't stop the visibility. The camera is clear and of good quality. The camera itself pivots on the angel so it is really easy to get the setup correct (our previous one didn't do this and had to be propped up etc to get the right angle). The sound seems clear and it has an intercom type option (although we won't use that personally). Because the screen is small it is harder to see the icons but that's a price I'm willing to pay. Also the stand is flimsy but I don't need that particularly. I think as a first time parent you stick with the well known brands, but actually I'm annoyed withuself for buying the Angelcare one originally. You are better off buying something lower budget, at least initially until you know what features you need and this monitor seems perfect for that and I'm hoping it will last us a couple of years.

Decent for price
So far the baby monitor is doing great. Only issue I have with it is that it is quite laggy when little one is moving loads. However the camera quality in general is quite good. Unfortunately it does not show the temperature in the room but luckily little one is in my room so I always know the temperate. I can’t complain tho as the value for money is actually really good. It’s easy to use, the range is great and it’s quite sensitive so picks up even the quietest noise.

very efficient
The Babystar Baby Monitor with Camera and Night Vision is a compact, user-friendly video monitor designed to give parents peace of mind while keeping an eye on their little ones. It features a 2.4-inch HD color screen for clear viewing and is powered by a rechargeable battery, offering up to 12 hours of video streaming on a single charge when using VOX (voice-activated) mode. The camera delivers detailed images and reliable night vision, automatically switching to black-and-white infrared mode in low light so you can monitor your baby even in complete darkness. This monitor stands out for its secure 2.4GHz wireless connection—no Wi-Fi or app pairing required—which helps protect your privacy and prevents hacking risks. The two-way audio feature allows you to talk to your baby remotely or play one of four built-in lullabies to help soothe them to sleep. Additional features include a feeding reminder function and a long operation range (up to 960 feet in open space), making it suitable for use across several rooms in typical home layouts. The Babystar Baby Monitor is praised for its clear vision, reliable performance, and practical features, though some users note that battery life and screen size may be modest compared to larger, more expensive models.

Great value for money!
For the price it is great, it was the cheapest I could find in Amazon with good reviews & it works a treat. Good image, clear sound, easy to use & also has some added bonuses. Battery life seems fine so far, it works just fine for nap times!

Doesn’t last long
I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to this time to warn others. I bought this baby monitor twice, and both units broke within a few months. The build quality is poor. I chose it because it was cheaper, but it turned out not to be worth it. I haven’t even had this one for a year, and it has already started hissing, making it difficult to hear my baby properly.

not bad for cheap price does the job
the signal keeps cutting out every now and then which is annoying, however, it does work and is a good small monitor for reasonable price. no thrills just the job (second child lol). good picture quality. battery life not too bad. wouldnt be happy for a first child as i was quite anxious but this is fine now for what we need

I told myself that if I keep a bassinet upstairs and a bassinet downstairs, I would not need a baby monitor this time around. Then the universe laughed at me because I have an insanely loud husband, 3 other arguing children, and an overactive border collie running around on hardwood floors llaying with everyone.. Needless to say, baby needed to start sleeping upstairs in peace with the loudest nouse machine ever created (an old box fan) away from these hoodlums. So I got a baby monitor. Lucky for me, this had same day delivery, a 20% discount and no fuss putting it together because it doesn't require hooking to wifi! We. Love. This. Camera. You should note that the camera part HAS to be plugged in at all times. You can set it up on a taller dresser or something beside the crib. It swivels in every direction for a clear view, or you can hang it up in a corner or something out of reach of baby and position it to face baby's crib. We haven't put ours on the wall yet but we are going to with the provided anchor and screw. The way this camera is set up, you can just slip it up over the screw if you need to take it down to use in a different room or something. It also has a microphone button you can hold in to talk to baby from the monitor screen (which I don't use but will when he it a toddler, I'm sure) as well as 4 lullabies you can play. I also don't use those. We have a 2400 sq. ft. home and it reaches everywhere I go. The monitor can be charged up and taken off the charger to carry around or you can use it attached to the wall. Seriously. I LOVE IT. It has a clear night time screen so when baby goes to bed at 8, I can sneak downstairs for bottled water, snacks, etc without worrying anymore. I highly recommend this one! And no, I did not get this as a discount or free for a review. I'm a broke mom (didn't you hear me say I have 4 kids, lol) so my purchases mean enough to me to tell the truth on them. I am one judgemental lady, haha.

I’ve had this for 5 months and it is no longer working correctly. It started having issues connecting to the camera, even though the camera in my baby’s room and where I keep the monitor on my night stand has not moved distance at all. Plus I live in a 1,000 sq foot house so my room and the baby’s room is not far away at all. It also doesn’t pick up my baby as good as it use to. She has to be fussing/crying louder for the monitor to alert you, where it use to pick up her cooing noises. It just overall does not last good for very long.

The night vision and sound motions works well. And I have had no issues with connecting in any part of the house and the battery on the monitor will last about 4 -5 days in economy mode. It's also nice that there was zero set up. No logging in or passwords, just turn the sucker on and it works. One HUGE criticism which took it down to 4 stars: I wish the lens was wider angle. I have to put the monitor fairly far up the wall in order to see the entire crib. And because I put the camera so far up the wall and away from my baby, the motion detection does not work well.

I think for the price it is great deal this is my last baby so i didn't want to spend so much money everything on this monitor is great only issue I have is the distance I litterly live about 25 feet from my mom which is in the same property all I have to do is take couple steps and I'm there but it only reaches up to her laundry room but either way I'm more home then over at hers when he is down for a nap, sound is great 2 way talk and the image is all good for the price I also had a coupon when I purchased which was 7 dollars less I mean I can't complain 😀

We had a much more expensive name brand monitor that did last a few years but had its share of problems. We didn't need dual screen anymore but I still wanted a monitor in my toddlers room. This has been a very smart purchase the price is excellent so I was a little skeptical of how the quality would be, but this has exceeded my expectations! The picture quality is great, and we don't have any reception problems like we had with our old monitor! The only negative is it doesn't have a panoramic feature as some more expensive monitors do. It does have a zoom feature which is great. So the monitor itself is stationary, we didn't have furniture nearby so my husband made a small wall mount and secured monitor to that to get at desired angle.
