The cage was easy to put together, and lightweight enough to move around easily, yet strong enough to hold even the most temperamental of critters! Caught a raccoon the first night, held it safely until we could relocate it. Safe enough though so that when we accidentally caught a stray cat it wasn’t injured. I would recommend!

Definitely not made for raccoons.

Never did catch the animal in my yard , Do not buy this it's very cheap

I’ve had this trap for several months now. Have caught 3 raccoons and 2 escaped. Have no idea how they did that but they did. I definitely don’t feel comfortable knowing that what I trap will stay trapped.

The trap is big, well-made and sturdy, but has one problem. If something inside pushes the door out it will lift enough for them to escape. I May have found a solution using small flat hooks attached to the front bottom rim. Now when door is pushed from inside it is stopped. So far so good.
