I had a different kettle that did the same function and I think this one is just ok, the thermometer is good, the pull down lever to start heating is hit or miss mostly a hit thogh, when it's full of water it seems flimsy it's, the cover where you put water I hate with a passion, it's a metal on metal contact and it's annoying, basically poor design and you see that they cut corners to make it affordable. At full capacity it takes 6min or a little more to heat the water and at low it's about 4min and it's not better than my old one that was 10+ years old.P.S. I miss my old one even though it was basic.

I am sure this is for safety, but the cord is very thick and hard to put out of sight.Otherwise it's a great product and I love the pot!

The thermometer on the kettle body never reads below 68 degrees, even when I put it outside in freezing weather. As it heats up it does move up on the scale, though, so I can use it to get different water temps for brewing various teas at several temps. Otherwise, it's usable and boils water fairly quickly and shuts off after it reaches the boiling temperature for a few seconds. The coiled cord on the base relaxed after a day or two and the base now sits flat on the counter. I unplug it when not in use. The pot itself is fairly heavy and the lid fits well. The water window seems to be fairly accurate.

I like this product, but I don't like that it requires a minimum of .7 liters of water which is a minimum to heat. This kettle works well, love the design I just wish I knew this requirement before I purchased it.

Looks great. Heats quickly. Easy to handle. Only negatives are the lid gets quite hot but I guess that’s to be expected. Also, the dial and water level gauge are hard to read and more decorative than useful. Still a ***** star unit that’s also priced right.

I use this tea pot several times a day and absolutely love it. I think the retro look is adorable, it looks really nice on my counter and is very well made. I have gotten lots of compliments on it and I am very happy with my purchase.

My husband insists on leaving a tea kettle on the counter due to his constant tea drinking. This replaced a old plastic one that still worked fine but looked terrible. This one is really cute and I don't mind that it lives on the counter - a nice upgrade.

Very nice and stylish looking. It is convenient to use, it auto shut off while water starts fully boiling. With temperature gauge,I can view the water temperatureto make coffe or tea at different temperature. Save time and no need to spending much time heating water on stove, it boils water so quickly. Will probably get another white one in future if needed

Heats up water very quickly, looks really nice and easy to clean and use.
