Inexpensive and solid
I bought this to use as a mallet to drive wood chisels. It was on offer and too cheap to turn down. It does not disappoint, being solidly built with replaceable plastic faces and a weighty head, which delivers a surprisingly heavy blow, without feeling cumbersome or hard to swing. Good tool for the price.

Very strong
Very strong, used it to knock out a motorbike spindle so far, coped well, no chips in it!

Good hammer
Good bit of kit. Ideal for dowels and wall plugs for DIY jobs around the house. It has a good weight to it, not too heavy that it splits a wall plugs like a claw hammer but not light enough that you can’t give something a good whack. It’s been a good addition to my toolkit.

If you want hardcore, look elsewhere, this is a softie!
Recently I've been building a rig out of 40x aluminium extrusion that comes with plastic end plates. I needed something sturdy but soft to tap them in without damaging them, and it had to be red and black! lol (just kidding on that last but, but it was a bonus!) This is a great value item that is more versatile than I'd given it credit for with its interchangeable ends. The black is like a hard plastic, very durable, and the red end (oi, stop laughing!) is soft (I said stop laughing!) like a wine gum, mmmm! My only real criticism of it is that the ends do come loose more easily than I would have liked, but it's not a big deal to just screw them on a bit tighter now and again, and it's hardly something in use constantly - at least in my case anyway.

Great product
Using this to replace my soffits and fascia’s and it’s brilliant for tapping in the self tapping nails without leaving any dents.
