Great shocks
Really makes a HUGE difference in handling and performance on the HBX 18859e. Stock shocks bounce the car everywhere especially rougher terrain to borderline flipping every run. These REALLY smooth the run and you can visually see it just slightly dropping it on a table. These shocks soak up all the force. Great choice for this model and definitely recommended!

Good product, good price
Great upgrade part from Haiboxing! Purchased for my 15889 and what a difference! I can jump it off curbs from here to Timbuktu and never worry about slapping the chassis, also the firm ride helps keep the wheels planted for some fun drifties!! Also love the threaded collars that let you dial the ride height and stiffness to a T. Great stuff!

Work well for my RC car
This are decent shocks for RC cars/trucks. As long as they fit, these worked reasonably well. I added oil to get the resistance I wanted. They appear to be made well.

Must-have upgrade for the HBX 1:18 trucks
This was the first upgrade I did to my HBX 18859, and it made a massive improvement in stability and handling over the original friction shocks. No longer does it bounce when running on gravel or dirt, and landings are much more controlled when jumping. Overall, a must have upgrade for any basher 1:18 truck or truggy.

Sturdy upgrade
The Original shocks weten’t too sturdy, so one broke. These new ones are. So good upgrade. Happy son!

these oil shocks are a must and a total game changer, just make sure the caps are tight. they look awesome and protect the vehicle in landing from jumps.. the original friction shocks on the 1:18 hbx are basically obnoxious squeaky fake shocks with very weak springs.. these are perfect in the front on the softest setting and need just a little firming up in the rear.
