USB C to Mini displayport (Type C to Mini displayport)

This has allowed me to use the same display port on my BenQ QHD display with both an older macbook with a mini display port and the newer macbook pro that only has usb-c. Instead of having two different cables hooked up to the display, I can keep one display port -> mini display port, and simply attach or detach this converter depending on the laptop I'm using.It showed up with metal scrapes along the full body of the adapter. It hasn't affected the hookup at all and the materials seem to be good quality, but kind of annoying to receive a brand new item with a major cosmetic defect.[X] Works with Macbook Pro usb-c[X] Audio goes through the cable[X] Picture looks just as good if I hooked up using an hdmi adapter.

it is a just ok piece of accessory. the cord is too short to bend after plug into the type c USB port, make it difficult to arrange.

Originally bought to connect a Cinema Display with my new iMac. It didn’t work for that purpose. However, it worked with my work Dell laptop. No problems at all! Had to get a different brand to finally connect my iMac.

Worked perfectly! I highly recommend this product. I’ve been looking to extend my laptop display on my iMac 2010 as a monitor and this adapter did the trick for me! I was able to use this adapter connecting the usb-c port from my laptop and from my iMac using the Mini DisplayPort to Mini DisplayPort. Thank you!!!

I used this to connect my Lenovo Yoga laptop which has a USB-c with an Apple Cinema Display with a mini-Displayport connection. It worked the first time I tried it without any hassels at all. I would be so happy if the rest of my work was this smooth

It didn’t work to connect my MacBook Pro 2017 touchbar to my Dell monitor 3007WFP 30”. This monitor uses a DVI dual link cable. It works with the Mac Mini using the Mini DisplayPort to Dual-Link DVI Adapter. Tried to connect my monitor to my MacBook Pro using this adapter and it didn’t work.

Highly recommended.

Did not work at all with Dell XPS 15 and MS Surface. I purchased three. None of them worked. Disappointed.
